Adeel bhai your liana 08 was outstanding just a request,engine bay need a little bling-bling do not soak it with water ever but try to wipe it down with rags/brushes and engine cleaner,i bet this will attract any potential buyer as well as the ride worth it:)

Nomee bhai,for you,if you want keep the dash texture alive use worthy products,and for the stereo,its up to listener,some people like heavy bass effect some like other stuff,a good DIY with computer speakers.
I personally like sq setup not an spl freak,the sound is always judged in lower end volume,i mean i like vocals to be dominant rather bass or music,and i like to listen the voice of a pin drop on the floor even amidst the music.

I am sorry for not much familiar with the workshop for specific liana's engine works in lahore but i know one guru mechanic(be aware)from him if you happen to visit him,he is master in his work but a little over clever as well.
Do not know,in which workshop is he working now a days,i have his cell number.

he was at walton road previously then moved to johar town and do not know where he is working now.you may consult him for tappet adjustments.
Avoid smuggled oils though the oil condition after 2k kms drive looked to me good in shape.

Reached babusabu at 10:50 am and met with zain,very lively guy:),kept me waiting for about 15 minutes in hot sun,it was 34 celsius:o that moment(first day of this season had to keep the air conditioner on) and when i left my home that morning 08:50 am,it was 22:-!

sir g,visit enercon,dont know their address in lahore but islamabad enercon is good, Shahid is there to set it for you or you may opt some very good tuner in lahore,i know one in defence, Maxpower but they are mostly for sports cars.

I'd definitely get in touch with nomi bhai and this guy to discuss the tappets with. Its currrently 34k on the odo, i guess i should wait for another 6k kms. I just noticed that air filter box was not properly locked so that may be reason for heavy sound. Thanks for your input.

Amir bhai please maafi day dein i always reach around 20 mins prior to the planned time and this had been my habit throughout the school and uni life but that day it was totally out of my control. You can impose a penalty upon me to make me feel less embarrassed.

I bought a Liana RXI 2007 couple of months back and my previous car was cultus. I would like to share my experience with everyone after having driven the car for more than 7000 K.m during these two months.

First the good points

1. Awesome mileage on CNG
2. Decent Pickup
3. Great value for money
4. The drive is very comfortable and quiet

and the bad

1. The brakes are terrible
2. Lack of good mechanics for Liana

I would like to ellaborate the part about the mileage. I know most of you will find this unbelievable but I'm currently getting 235-240Km per filling in city driving. I myself was amazed at these figures as its a 1.3 Litre car and I'm pretty sure no other car comes even close. However, i would like to share with you how I'm able to achieve such a great mileage figure.

1. I keep it really easy on the throttle. My max speed is 80 Kmph within the city and I never cross 3000 rpm at any time.

2. I get CNG filled in early morning as the pressure is good at this time.

In the end I would like to say that before I bought this car I heard many bad things about it but they all turned out to be false. Liana is a great car and I'm really happy with my decision to buy it.

1. how much difference do you feel in term of cabin noise of both the cars ? and any extra squeaks and shrills or any extra door noises in the cabin when driving Liana on unpaved areas or road patches (as Cultus seem to have quite of these hidden noises)

2. How do you compare the expense of maintenance between the two? is it nominal or a huge difference? in both routine maintenance and body parts type things ?

and last but not least, would you really suggest a Cultus owner which is driven with extreme care since day one and is Alhamdulillah a completely trouble free car to go for a change and buy a second-hand Liana in exchange (by the way my Cultus is 07 EFI and if i would go for a Liana it would also be a 07 )

Faraz bhai,i was kept recalling your cell number on 23rd but:( did not find otherwise i would have liked if you could patch up with us.
I would like to reply your queries with my personal experience.
Hidden noise is way way less than cultus because i had one in past.Doors build quality is far better than of cultus.
Yes road noise comes in cabin but its again less than cultus.
routine maintenance is almost same except half litter of engine oil is needed excessive
Body parts are expensive:(
You would not repent on getting used liana against cultus.
