the process we did is'nt right i agree but I was not involved in buying it my dad & elder brother bought & got it replaced with preivious engine,i was busy at that time in something else, coming to next thing even professionals can tell its a good /great condition engine i know that, but i disagree on the point how in the earth you can be confirm that it is 5-20k driven & why someone would be stupid enough to sell 5k driven engine at price of 10000-15000. since youre are a professional i know that but for example even app kisi japanese car whose mileage is 50k ap ksi engine professional ko dikhao begair milegae dikhai he will just give an estimate that its very low driven engine he might say 10-20k driven but uske kehne se wo actual se itna nahi naa hojana, so condition cannot give how much driven engine with soo much accuracy ,who someone threw away to bilal gunj or any junkyard because that's how engine condition are as good as new if u get any engine from abroad mostly so professionals mights say 5k driven engine which can't be true in my opinion
I can say this because last time before liana engine we bought civic 97 engine with the help of professional who made us bought a engine according to him it was a 'sheesha engine' which we bought & estimate he gave was 30-40k maximum driven & to me that's something logical now I am not saying he was accurate or 100% right with his estimate but atleast any car whose engine is seperated from it & sold is atleast 40k + driven

Firstly you are not aware of the real professional.
Secondly yes you're talking according to the experience you have so you're right. But i tell you it's not a bad car. We've plenty of examples to support that it's a great car and you've only one to prove it a bad car sir.

Guys im looking to purchase a Liana for my office commute primarily which is roughly 50 km daily. However, I want some suggestions and advice beforehand. Since this seemed like a very relevant thread to ask the question so here i'm. Resale really isn't a big priority of mine. If I purchase the car i'll keep it a good 2-3 years.
1. Is Liana a good car overall in terms of reliability?
2. How are maintenance costs?
3. What should be the price of Rxi 2009-2011? if condition is clean like not touching etc and Lahore or Rawalpindi registered.
4. Are parts easily available?

As mentioned earlier my driving will be mostly Urban with sometimes long travel on the motorway. Your help will be greatly appreciated regarding the matter.

Everything will be available and it's a great car sir.
Vurv eminent is recommended as a priority.
It's a 1.6 a/t available till 2011 model.
Lxi is good too vurv.

And if you get a clean eminent 2011, you'll get it for 9-10 lacs.

And vurv lxi 2011 for 8-9 lacs.

And note : always buy less than 60k mileage vurv and you'll love it for more than half a decade.

guys my liana steering oil is all dark brown and never changed so if i go for complete flush with new oil then what should be the recommended steering oil brand and quantity ?

what is the oil change interval of Liqui Moly 10W40 Mos2 ? and do i need to change oil filter twice? I mean once when i change the oil and the other in between the oil intervals ? It was Suggested by mechanic. I am using Lippon oil filter

It should be replaced around 6-8k range

So guys I have found a Liana which seems to be in good condition. The model is 09 Rxi and registered in 10.

Mileage: 93k
Reg: Lahore
Owner: 2nd
Interior: Excellent condition
Mechanically: Good little some work required and needs it's tyres changed. So expecting a 40k expense in total.

Body: Both bumpers are repainted and has some minor scratches here & there.

My question is what should I offer him for the car? Considering the current market conditions.
