I heard Liana thermostat changing is a big pain peoples are selling their cars or swapping engine because of thermostate or car heating problem even there's a video on YouTube about it even a topic on pakwheels.
Please share your experiences because I'm thinking to change mine thermostate mine Liana is 8 year old and I want to add coolant that's why

Bump !!! Average dropped to 2.7kmpl and mechanic is unable to diagnose the problem ,he kept on resetting ecu (by removing negative terminal) after scanning .thats it ,, i opened MAP sesnor by myself but didn't tried cleaning it because i only have carb cleaner at the moment and i don't think so something is wrong with map because nothing is wrong in scanned results and no check engine light ,kindly helpp liana is killing me ,

Looks like a fuel leak somewhere...

Is engine hard to start?

No dear engine starts normally but after driving for a while smell of petrol comes near fuel tank lid , I checked underneath and every possible pipeline after starting car ,no leaks , but this smell is prominent when i leave car after parking , a faulty lid cannot cause this much petrol loss , by the way fuel lid is fine too

There's a leakage in the fuel lines or the fuel tank. check carefully. Such low mileage cannot be possible due to a malfunction. Do check the injectors as well.,
