Dear Pakwheelers

Its quite some time that LIANA is in the market. I am interested in buying a LIANA CNG due to specifications quoted by Pak Suzuki. In this regard I want to ask comments from Pakwheelers who themself have used this car. Thanks.

I don't own one but I have driven my cousin's Liana many times so take my words, its drive, equipments and economy is way better than Corolla GLi and Honda City.

I would suggest you to track this topic in the research section. A lot of discussion has already taken place on this issue. You can benefit from the previous threads. Golden words and Pearls of wisdom are seldom repeated. There are five experts of Liana on this site. Fzaman tops them but he would not share his thoughts "that" often.

the engine is mounted on the left side , most of its weight is on the front left axel. a mechic said , this would need replacement in a year or two. dont know if he was right or wrong. but saw the engine position.

Please donot listen to these mechanics, who challange the engineering design without knowing ABC of Engineering. If its most of the weight is on left axle, Its Center of Gravity must also be biased towards left. The vehicle should keep on pulling all the way while driving. If you have personal experience of maintaining this car, do share your experience

Liana it self is a good vehicle, regarding its CNG system Suzuki used landi reanzo SIS kits, which are not properly backed up by Landi, they r still trying to improve its performance as well as its injector rail noice, if they offer you modified 1, xj type or hd type injectors, then its ok I believe, but if its equiped with 3 ohms old coil type injectors,then there will be a terrible noice.

Logas, Thanks for your valuable information. I think maker must be using standard injector in all LIANAs. whether it is 3 ohm type or xj or hd type. But it should be same in all cars. What is your information, which type of injectors are being used nowadays.

This is the problem that OEM are not using standard components, as these are also new to them, and they are in trail phase. You are in Karachi ask Mr. Hamza at Friends CNG, he will guide you better in Karachi that What Suzuki is doing in Karachi.

its a good car for sure. and engine on left is nothing new. baleno, old lancer, honda also had such layout without a problem

Well to my experience.. i think it is really value of money both features and CNG kit wise...
Mostly all the CNG users experince problems in a sence of getting their car tunned after driven 1k or 2k km and also getting there air in take blocked for proper gas running then also idol rpm issues... what i have found after almost driven 9000 km that i not even once went for cng tunning or got my car switched off on low rpm etc...there is no intake blocking so car runs as it should be on petrol... i guess these are some of the issues CNG users faces...
Yes i will say the pickup with AC on is not upto the mark in 2nd gear only which needs improvement .... but still that is manageable otherwise its a nice family car...
these are just my comments ... anyone can defy them...

i personally owend LIANA rxi cng FF
i suggest u to buy Lxi cng FF it is available with ABS breaks
rxi is with out ABS it skids.

Bhai ABS se aap ki problem solve naehin hogi. Aap apni car kay tyres change kar lain problem solve ho jaey gee. These FF generals are really sh*t. I have kumho in my khyber 7 years used tyres iqdam khatam ho gaey hain laikin phir bhi inki grip meri liana kay new generals say achi hay. I m going to throw away these stock very soon.

break performance improves from 0% to 100% if you change stock general tyres to someone of gud quality. I personally experience the same. i have change my liana's general tyres after 20k done with dunlop lm 702 195 65 R14 89H, Believe me your car runs more smoother than ever. gud tyres does matter.

drive & comfort diff is awsome. u can well imagine the difference the car without foot and with good foot. general tyres really sucks. also, u will get better fuel consuption, atleast i m getting. i have full my 60lts cng bomb worth rupee 325 and it gives me 170km costing me Rs. 1.9 / km.

i also replaced rims n tyres with
15'' alloy wheels n 195/55 falcon tyres
but skids problem is still in it.

one more thing it dosnt skids on highways
mostly it happend to me on murree road rawalpindi

it costs me 16000 for 4 tyres.
as u can see in previous post, its 89H, coz the guy from where i change my tyres suggest me not to go for 15", but in 14" with gud height tyres to avoid any problem in suspension and stearing smoothness. u can have same profile with low height in about 3500 each tyre.
old one did 20k, they i sold them in 2500, but they were in bad condition, very rough general tyres.

yar who asked you to change the tyres with falcon. u should change it with some good brand like yokohama, dunlop or bridgestone. i prefere dunlop over yokohama coz its much softer than yoko. no skidding at all wid dunlop, atleast with my liana
