Yesterday I test drove a friends brand new liana lxi cng, I fell in love with liana again. Nothing beats this car for value for money and drive on long routes as its very comfortable comparing with city exis yar that car is equivalent to size of margalla its extremelly small from inside, My friend's father owns an exis and he always admire liana in drive not talking about speed.

I'm not saying city is a bad car but both cars are equally good.

@newton, sir try highway pe city kaafi comfortable hai! its ideal for a family of five, not saying that liana isnt but i feel more comfortable in a city! why u ask, well for one i feel safe being seated lower n uprite with the whole hood in my view!
liana, well i used to sit low but the dash was high, cudnt see the hood!

may be u fell in love cuz u have this thing for liana!!!

@hondafanatic, All models of city have very small seats considering our family, liana / city are basically for 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 kids, civic and rolla are for 5 adults as these are big. My father bought a rolla in 06 and I wanted him to buy city steermatic (discount wali) as the price was the same, I took him to the show room after looking and sitting in the car first thing he said was yar yeh tere liana say bhee chotee hay.

As far as bonnet is concerned buddy u wont be able to buy any new model if u feel comfortable with bonnet view

well all cars are good, but i feel it is unfair to compare liana with city and xli.

as it is said ALL DECISIONS ARE BASED ON ECONOMICS so if i have a range

of aroung 6 lac 50 then what choices i have, i feel liana has very successfully

entered in between, i can buy following cars city 2001, corolla 1996-98, maybe

vitz, or liana 2006 or 2007. wow guys i will definitely go for a younger car instead of

older ones firstly due to looks and then the features ...just see the pics...

pic5 look at the trunk space. pic6 4th generation CNG. pic 7 cool tyre size

pic8 nice tail pic 9 front design and luxy p1c 10 immobilizer.

.......hey man all you can get in pakistan worth lot less than 96 corolla

or cars that comes with the same prize..in end i can say with confidence liana is worth it.

@hondafanatic: bro u r comparing apples with oranges....why r u bringing 2000City here? We are taking about comparable models, ie 2005-2008...Liana, City and Corolla's....
If u want to rate ur City 2000, compare it with Baleno..but thats another story and I dont want to get into it as I havent used either of them.

And u r right, IDSI wasnt made for performance, so we can firmly say it is no comparison for Liana.

btw, I love the 2000 City..

about the i-dsi, performance wise, yes its not comparable, but what about other stuff, comfort, durability, economy etc etc

Oh stupid people listen...

Liana is not very popular here because some "Ameer zadas" consider that S in front ov it as their "Baisti".. :P:P

Secondly Liana is an affordable car and I don;t know when our Pakis will get sense. Liana is a computerized car and "Ghattu" and "Jahil" mechanics ov Pakistan are completely unable to understand it.

U remember when Suzuki Margalla came here, that was a failure also. But what happened afterwards??? We all know..

Paki SO CALLED STATUS CONCIOUS mentality is now not ready to accept liana but to their surprise Liana is becoming popular. Because it is somewhat affordable. It is the best car.

We live in joint family system. We have a City and 2 Lianas. Even the City Owner my Maternal Uncle enjoys Liana and he is looking forward to Buy a Liana also..

And one last thing, Liana is owned by even very big officers etc.. Who are not complexed.. Like most of our NEWLY STATUS CONSCIOUS HOMIES:P:P

Liana is more popular than ever now...the new City has failed miserably (probably due to 1.5cc engine), and new Corolla is too expensive (XLI still doesnt have power windows, lolz). So in the absence of good competition Liana is enjoying its status.

hey dudes wht ever ppl say comparing last models city liana gli.... liana is best car comfort speed everything and for accelaration and top speed it's still beter than new gli....
i owned all of these city and liana same time.... now new gli... and had old one for a month...or ssooooo
and believe it or not i even dun av to spend more than maintenance cost of every 5k km and had kept liana for around 3yrs....

Most useless thing i ever came across the guy just want some business at end of blog he "we can source very cheap parts " the guy want to fool ppl and sell them part nothing else than he mention faulty gearbox and Suzuki should recall it but in the end he mention that he can arrange a gearbox at very low price" the problem he mention were never reported in Liana funny thing is the crank angle sensor was the issue with baleno which was due to our stupid mechanic use to destroy it by messing up with magnetic signal of crank sensor
BTW you digged a old thread for no reason I wonder if you are the same person who wrote that blog
