Lifan launched its first SUV, the X60 in May 2011 with a price tag of just 79,980 yuan (11.33 lac PKR). Initially the X60 is only available with a 1.8L CVVT 16V DOHC engine mated with either a 5 speed manual or a 4 speed automatic transmission.
X60 boasts Anti-Collision Design, Four-Channel/Four-Sensor ABS and EBD, Driver & Passenger Airbags, Engine Immobilizer, Key-less entry, Seat-belt reminders, Reversing sensors, front MacPherson Independent Suspension, rear Transverse Stabilizer Bar, Power windows, Power locks, Tilt Adjustable Steering, USB/ Aux/ iPod Connectivity and 6 speakers etc.
According to Lifan, the 1.8L engine consumes 8.2 liters/100 km with maximum capacity of 55 liter while meeting Euro IV emission standards. A 1.6 liter engine will also be offered later.
