where can i find stainless steel 2.5 lightweight pipes ?

can these be bend by heat and bend dent could be taken out by removing and hammering the dent like iron pipe.

how to find out what guage pipe is minimum for exhaust pipe requirment.

what would be cost/ meter or foot?

u have to find sheets of SS then make there pipes SS pipes are rear things as in pak we dont use these pipes in cars or if ur lucky u can find original SS pipes in junk yard and in exhaust pipes they use SS302 as exhaust pipes are not for looks they are for performance so they use them in 302 SS as per gauge u can check the original gauge of ur car then find some thing like that 19/20 chalay ga original pipe kay gauge say

I think the best thing to do would be to visit a junkyard for truck exhaust system parts. You might be able to salvage pipe bends and sections from various exhaust systems. These bends are more often than not mandrel-bent and are of high quality, unlike car exhaust systems where cost is a major design factor and bends are of lower quality. As a general rule, diesel engines all run bigger diameter exhaust tubing as compared to a comparable petrol engine as the engine is never throttled.

thx all, yea my cousin also mentioned something about using a SS pipe on his E36. but idea fadded out as we didnt persue., he mentioned he knew someone who is working with SS in his factory.

We got hold of mitshubitshi stuff from Peshawer yards. i am sure there is SS stuff there, but its lot of hunting and bargaining and time involvment. though SS pipes sound bit smooth than steel, not doubt there:)

steel is already what cars exhaust use, i was talking about lightweight stainlesssteel and smooth finish on the inside too

I'm not sure, but I think the tubes used for 1st-gen Pajero exhaust may be aluminised because they do not rust. They might even be SS if you're lucky.

Stainless Steel Pipes Are Also Available.......Have To Check Gauge...Have Seen 2" Pipe Might Be 2.5" Also There.....!! Take Them To Bender And Ask Them To Bend.....!! They Have Dies To Bend Them.....!! Have Done Similar With My 2.25" Piping.....Get Bended Using Bending Dies...

Problem with die-bent pipes is that you can only weld in one axis as the pipe cross section in the bend is an oval. Mandrel-bent pipe bends are circular in cross section so you can cut and rotate in whichever direction you want and the sections will always be square to one another.

There is guy in our Office Plaza Use to have Chromed pipes but in 2" the one with 16 Gauge can be welded n bended easily as i worked on it for my vitz.You can get many Qualities form Circular Road.. but have to buy full legth

no. didnt got the pipe with 16 Gauge the guy asked me to wait for a day and i didnt had time and I found 18mm 1 more equlay havier..

302 is bit heavy go for 201 or 202
i m running 2.5ich pipe ss202 take 10feet from shershahkarachi at rate of 250 per kg it was abt 8/5kg and running it since 3 years going fine.
