I am pretty impressed by the talk on Liqui Moly products and ceratec specially currently i am using ZIC A and i want to shift to fully synthetic although i am sure that LM product is good but i am afraid they may not be able to sustain for too long
I am still confused to go with mobil1 or liqui moly synthetic oil!!
Secondly how do i add ceratec in engine. The oil itself is 4 liter and 1 liter of ceratech will increase the oil level to 5 liter?? so should i add 3 liter oil and 1 liter ceratech or 4 liter oil and 1 liter ceratec?
I use civic05 with 74K dne

Correct, its 300ml. The rest should be simple math.
The best way to do this is to use this process:

1- Add engine flush to your old oil, let the car idle for 5-10 minutes.
2- Drain the old engine oil and the flush.
3- Add new engine oil, keep pouring Ceratec simultaneously with the new oil.
4- Drive away!

Simple. Nothing else to it.
To the person who asked about longevity of LM synthetic. This oil will out last any oil you have in Pakistan. Its a true synthetic, and from what I have gathered Mobil 1 5w50 is not. LM synthetic is a group 4/5 oil, while Mobil 1 is group 3. Group 3 allows you to use the words Fully Synthetic on your box of oil, however, anyone familiar and educated about oils will tell you that an oil that belongs to group 4/5 is the only oil that is fully synthetic. Abroad, there are versions of Mobil 1 that are group 4/5 oils, Redline makes some great oils, what they call the German Castrol Synthetic oil is also group 4. Amsoil make a product that is also Group 4/5. You cannot get any of these in PK, apart from LM. Put your hard earned money behind a company that is worth it.

How much do you recommend the oil would run before it needs changing. Im currently running on Petromin. I wanted to switch over to Mobil 1 but now thinking of LM Synthetic ... Was going to use ceratec in either case.

I can't say for sure. Claims are claims, and the distributor in Blue Area said after taking a look at my vehicle that I should be good for 15k provided I'm using good filters. Honestly, that sounds too good to be true. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I would be disappointed if it lasted less than 10k. The only way to check is to use it once and see, what's the most one would lose?

I've only driven about 500 kms since switching from Zic 0W30 Synthetic, but to be honest, I started noticing with Zic even that early on that I wasn't going to be happy, and changed at 800kms. Maybe it was how thin the Zic oil was, maybe it was a mismatch for my 2JZ (recommended oil viscosity is 5w30 synthetic).

One thing to note is that when you add Ceratec, your oil will have a light brownish shade. That's the way it is supposed to be, after all, one of the top rated oils in the world, Royal Purple, is actually purple in color!

Also, I will say one thing. So far, I have used the following:

1- Ceratec
2- Engine Flush
3- 5w30 Fully Synthetic
4- Injector Cleaner

Friends and acquaintances have used:
1- Radiator Flush
2- Radiator Stop Leak

None of us have complained that the products are hype and do not work. None of us. Its only the case with Ceratec that the engine is idling a lot better ever since putting it in, long term effects however have yet to be noticed as I haven't used my ride enough. Having said that, I sleep better at night knowing I have extra protection (doesn't sound right, you devils).

Plan to use their premixed coolant very soon, and also their polishes, interior and exterior. I see no reason to use anything else from any other company now

Use 10w40 with MoS2 semi synthetic. For instructions on Ceratec, read a few posts above. Its a piece of cake.
Price for the oil is 3800 for 5 liters, not sure about 4. Price for Ceratec is 2000, good for 50,000kms.

I wouldnt be surprised if it lasted above 10,000 but going upto 15000 might be a task. And its not becasue of the oil quality its because of amount of dust in our enviornment. So it really depends where you drive. My driving is in cleaner areas no long rural drives so even my petromin at 5000km is usually good. You cant blame the oil in that case. I think the filter claim is very very valid. Il be very happy anywhere above 10 000.

Im planning to fill up my radiator with their coolant (though its still full and ive hardly once filled it up) and also plan to use their fuel injectors. Seems good.

Can you recommend any place for a good tuning after spending so much money. I feel my care desperately needs one.

ive khyber n its engine wa rebuilt like 36k kms before n i use caltex 20w50 n change it around 3000-3500kms...
just wana move to petromin ultra n thinkin to get engine flush first..

Good genuine Oil filters will go good for you easily upto 6K Kms. You can change the filter at this interval and go for another 6K kms.
If you flush your engine, the filter's life will become more easy

Used Flush in two cars. Using it in my car. Previous oil got bit dirty at 3000KM (Petromin) This time after Flush i see better looking oil. I will do a comparison when my car reaches 3000Km if Flush made any difference.
