An engine is an engine,carburated or fuel injected, r the forms of controling its combustion. EFI's r more efficient but works on alomost the same principles of combustion.
Liqui moly guys r very rite about the old formula of the Oil being sold locally.
@storm,
I m of the openion that the choice of oil plays a big roll in the life n performance of an engine. For instance I have personally vitnessed engine broken down in minutes internally by just choosing the wrong type of oil.
the guide lines r usually provided by the manufacturers about the grades of oil.
It is very necessary to choose that oil which is better suited with the cleareances of the bearings n surfaces, plus the max/min temprature in which it can maintain its viscocity. And the cooling system of the engine should also not be forgotten.
May be the liqui moly guys r using Teflon( world's most slipriest dry lubricant) in their mbil oil. This teflon usually creats a layer in between each grinding parts inside the engine. So, theoratically this means zero grinding between all the surfaces.
