Just used Liqui Moly MoS2 Oil Additive in my current oil ZIC A.
Have met the representative of the importers of Liqui Moly products in Karachi and received personally from him.

The person I met, importing Liqui Moly products for Karachi, was a very professional and nice to meet. He has plans for extending more products in his lineup in coming months and have some solid future action items.
He is also importing products of CEPSA of Spain.
People of Karachi can now easily get a range of Liqui Moly and CEPSA products here very easily and most probably with free delivery at their door steps in coming months.
I'm looking forward to them and he told me that he will keep in touch with me in future developments.

My next oil change, I'm going to try their 10W40 Synthetic Formula oil of Liqui Moly with the Cera Tec or Motor Protect oil additive.

recently liquimoly has really stepped up theor game and is offering exceptional products in PK. the agent for ISb is reight behind my office and they're very professional and even though we are competitors we share allot of info etc. infact i always recommend their engine flush to anyone who wants to use such a product on thier cars as it is (for me) the best value for money flush available in PK.

however i must ask why you went for the additive rather than just moving to something like mobil super syn or zic XQ (unless it's an older car - which makes sense to use the additive AND a mineral oil).

tha main thing to look for it to make sure this additive is stable to use with your current oil & engine state. if your engine is very old & is consuming oil it's possibly a good idea to also go for liquimoly viscoplus at the same time,.. but you don't have to.

Yes, I have an old 2004 Cultus and I'm using ZIC A, a formula, and just wanted to experience the MoS2 as I have heard a lot about this compound for having low friction properties and increased protection incase of shorter trips which I do most. Most of my trips are less than 10 Kms and the engine runs in colder state without achieving the optimal temperature for most of the run.
I don't think any formula oil is providing MoS2 protection.

Further ons, by the briefing of Cera Tec and its capability to have a ceramic coating which can lasts 50K kms, I'm also very tempted to use it on my next oil change. If this works, I will say bye to ZIC and shift to Petromin as Liqui Moly Oils are quite expensive for sure
For sure Liqui Moly is a big name to get trust for their additives.

Storm, how do you rate CEPSA oils? Their products are pretty decent in price over here...

their cepsa star 20W50 is comparable Petromin Ultra7. Are you in spain? it'd be nicve if anyone was willing to bring their range to PK as it woudl proveide better competition to fuchs and petromin (something the local oils backed out off as soon as we entered the market).

I've never used their products to be honest but i've read many reviews and have also done a little research into our competitors/alternatives over time.

I'm not in Spain I was talking about the price range their products are being introduced here in Karachi. The person of UniCorn whom I met is also importing CEPSA lineup with Liqui Moly. The prices of CEPSA are way less than Liqui Moly.

And Oh yes I love to be anywhere in Europe

By the way, the Abu Dhabi group is about to get all the remaining shares of CEPSA from Total I have read. So you people can also get into that as you have connections in ME

have only used mineral based liqui-moly lubricants before. definitely, one of the best dino oils out there.

moly has tremendous anti-wear properties, so the mos2 additive works well at reducing wear and friction. used it a few times while breaking in a few engines. IIRC, 50ml of the additive per a litre of engine oil is the usual composition.

spoke with the liqui-moly agents as well...... sounded like decent people.

i just hope that this time liqui-moly stays around for good. its very frustrating to keep changing oil brands when the supply is erratic or simply runs out.

@ storm bhai thats quite honest on your part, this quality is rarely found these days. even they are your competetors you praise them.

i don't remember exactly but once i was searching for the liqui moly product on the internet especially for those available on the internet, but their product was found out dated by me and some other PW members second my opinion then. they were offering quite old stuff here in Pakistan in terms of API ratings. I know it very well that Liqui moly is a big name but they were not doing well in our country that time, don't know whether they have improved their lineup now or still having out dated stuffs.

Have done some 100 Kms now. Now I feel some good points in the effectiveness, car has some smoother acceleration plus the idling is smooth and the engine is some more quiet. Though its not a that much of a difference, but the difference is evident.
More importantly, I have used it in the middle of the oil change and the oil is 3.5K kms old and it is making difference. So its good for me.

Liqui Moly products are made and packed in Germany only and then distributed worldwide, so everything regarding to their products can be found on their web portal.

Spent second half of the day with Liqui Moly person visiting some market segments and even saw a fake Liqui Moly oil can with wrong LM logo So people buying this product make sure their sources, as the genuine stuff is not rotated in the market yet.
In Defence, and in the district central of Karachi, near Gulshan, it would be easily available in near future though.
The products are exactly as they appear on their web site, so identifying genuine stuff is pretty easy.

I was also demonstrated the practical usage of Liqui Moly Engine Flush, it was pretty decent stuff, I think must to do at about every 2-3 oil change.
After flushing, the car was loaded with CEPSA Star mineral oil (10W40 I think) and Liqui Moly MoS2 Oil Additive was poured in.
I was in a hurry so couldn't check that Charade 86 after the oil change though

I was also demonstrated the Liqui Moly Car Polish, result was pretty good.

I have used MoS2 only with my old oil for now. But I'm planning to use Cera Tec next time with Liqui Moly Semi Synthetic Oil already having MoS2 effectiveness.
I have a 2004 Cultus in Stock condition, only rings and pistons changed last year (40K kms).
