Hi experts kindly help me on this I have new corolla 1.3 and it clocks 14k and Em currently using toyota patron Em not satsified with mileage and performance of my car.. can you please suggest me the good to shift from toyota patron... one of friend has suggested me the liqui moly 05 30w with ceratec?

Check the right viscosity from your user manual and stick to it. Usually 10w40 works well in Pakistan climate, unless you are in Northern cold, perhaps 0w40 in that case.

Secondly avoid ceratec on new engine. Its not required on new engines, as it adds a layer of thick oil inside engine, required in older engines with leaks or larger chambers etc.

Will be pouring the Mobil 1 New Life 0w40 once again this weekend in my car after completing 10,000km on it.

Previously I had exclusively poured Liqui Moly 10w40 Synthese (semi synthetic), andcit was good. But Mobil 1 feels to work better, specially seems to provide more power from cold startup, and the engine feels powerful at all times. Fuel economy has also improved and its priced very nicely. Made in France.

If you can get your hands on it, its a better oil, better than LM in my opinion.

bought passo 2014 recommended oil is 0w20 and i changed today to this recommended oil. is it safe in pakistan.? or should i go for 5w30? regards

Toyota genuine 0W20 motor oil is not your usual motor oil, the best closest match you will find is sold under the mobil1 brand. Toyota 0W20 is perfectly usable in any climate condition in your engine provided you follow correct intervals.

People are running towards caltex which is absolutely violating the customers rights research on net what is the present Grading of oil using in the world API approvals you will find SG grading is now Obsolete it is made for old enging like 70s max start of 80s but caltex is still using bluntly we look for cheep with out knowing what we are buying and paying and what is happening with our car enging micro partical, friction between pistons cause 3-4 year engine knocking and then we are compelled to run for a good mechanics

So used imported oil with right selection of grad. See liqui-moly seal even a mobil oil container seal is not reliable what it has in it no ones known

I need to change engine oil of my Suzuki Swift Manual Transmission at 10,000 KM. right now ODO is 7000.

As per manual it says SAE 10W-40 API SM. Previously I used SGO Ultimate from 3S Dealer.

Suggest me the best available engine oil which runs for 5K. As I am thinking to keep the drain interval to 5K max.

NOTE: SGO Ultimate is Mineral Based oil.

AOA, Thanks for the reply. My car is old (2005, first owner) engine overhauled in 2016 and recently gear was repaired. Gear oil is new but i feel stiffness due to new parts replaced the old damaged ones. so that is why i was thinking of getting Anti gear friction M0s2 as well as ceratec to prevent from excess heat in upcoming summers and engine/gears runs smoothly. I do not want to remove the thermostat to keep the engine cool. ever since the engine overhaul, thermostat is auto. Also I have removed CNG cylinder and driven 100% on petrol after the engine overhaul.
