Only use this additive if it is ok for synchronizers in gear box. Otherwise it will create problems.

And if you could guide me what viscosity Liqui Moly engine oil should I use, Its a toyota corolla ae111 with original blacktop twincam 20v, mileage is around 130K now. The previous owner used FUCH engine oil 10w40 (changed it every 3k miles)

Thanks and youre right, and I also called them, the website which I've asked about, http://www.liqui-moly.com.pk, is fake according to them. They dont offer delivery service still the guy was kind enough to deliver it via Daewoo service. I might go to Islamabad next week so might collect in person. Now to decide which one to buy, 10w40 or 5w30

As per http://liquimolypakistan.com/special-tec-aa-5w-30/ and https://products.liqui-moly.com/special-tec-aa-5w-30-3.html , SPECIAL TEC AA 5W-30 is based on Synthesis technology (and is not fully synthetic).

As per http://liquimolypakistan.com/mos2-leichtlauf-10w-40/ and https://products.liqui-moly.com/mos2-leichtlauf-10w-40-1.html , MOS2 LEICHTLAUF 10W-40 is Partly synthetic and is API SL! (For 2004 and older automotive engines). I would suggest to avoid it!

As per http://liquimolypakistan.com/super-leichtlauf-10w-40/ and https://products.liqui-moly.com/oils/super-leichtlauf-10w-40-1.html , SUPER LEICHTLAUF 10W-40 is based on Synthesis technology and is API SN! It is preferable in comparison to MOS2 LEICHTLAUF 10W-40, being in better API ranking and manufacturing tech.

Thanks for your detailed reply, now coming to API (good that you mentioned it as am confused about that too). For my engine the recommended API is SG or SH see picture attached showing recommended engine oil type too. It will help you I think in guiding me.

Bro, as per https://www.api.org/products-and-services/engine-oil/eolcs-categories-and-classifications/oil-categories#tab-gasoline , SG & SH; both are obsolete oil categories. I am not in a position to comment. Let the experienced and learned guide you better.

However, regarding engine oil grade / viscosity, I would suggest 10w-30. If you carefully observe, you can see that it covers more temperature ranges than 15w-40 and 20w-50. Good that you shared the pic from your manual.

If API SN is OK, then you may look for Havoline Formula SAE 10W-30 in 10w-30. Please have a look at https://pakistan.chevronlubricants.com/en_PK/products/products/havoline-formula-sae-10w-30.html for more details.
