Lister Petter Engines

Salam Brothers,

I am looking for Lister Petter Diesel Engines (Stationary Industrial Engines) to build Generators. You have seen these green engines (2/3 cylinder) with Concrete Mixers (Cement Mixers) and Concrete trolley. These Green Engines are Air Cooled and meant for hard jobs with good fuel economy.

Typically, these are/were used in Fishing Boats, I have seen these at Karachi port but nowadays they have replaced it with Chinese diesel engines, they are a bit noisy as compared to car engines.

I have build one for myself and it has Lister Petter TS2 Engine and I coupled it with a 10KW Generator Head (3 Phase). Enough to power my home and averaging 1 litre/hr.

If you have some info please share.

have your neighbors bought rifles yet?

any industrial 2 or 3 cyl diesel stationary engine is extra loud when working.

I already wrote about noise but recent development is not that noisy but there are ways to suppress the noise. any info where to get these donkeys.

Unable to find good generator mechanic.

Nahi Bhai, I am not aware of any good mechanic, they are all same.
That is why bought a made in England Lister Petter 20 HP Engine and build my own 10KW generator to get rid of Chinese low profile gensets.
