Locating reverse light wire

Hey guyz, My reverse light switch is not working. Electrician checked it and he touched some wire with battery and reverse lights came on so he tried but failed to open reverse light switch and asked me to get it opened from some mechanic. I don't know which wire he touched with batter +. so I tried 1 wire but when touched it with battery then engine turned on :)....

so any idea how can I locate the wire?

Reverse switch wire is on the gear box
check the switch
grounding the wire will light up the reverse lamp

Wire is no longer connected to switch thats why having difficult to locate it...

Sorry dear, forgot to mention car. Its mehran 96. the above pic shows wires connected to the switch but wires of my car are not connected to switch and cut off... don't know which wire it is...I heard there are color codes for each wire so maybe can locate from color.

Nasir Saab it is the Red and Yellow wire. Yellow wire will have a blue or some other colour tracer (line) on it. Post a picture of it. That will help.
