Lodhran Khanewal expressway

Aslam o alykum,

Dear Pak wheelers,

I want to travel from Lahore to Rahimyar khan on my own car with family on eids next day, please confirm whether to use lodhran khanewal expressway or multan shujabad lodhran route. Also confirm whether lodhran khanewal expressway is fully completed or still under construction.

I guess lodhran khanewal expressway would b better cux the road is almost fully built now, around 15 odd km bumpy patch remaining. It has relatively lesser traffic n shorter distance. So u can take that. Besides, it is rumored that lahore-abdul hakim section of motorway is going to open very soon, 15th or 19th of this month. Lets hope it gets operational n then u can enjoy motorway from lhe to multan n then follow n5 to destination

Just travelled from Islamabad to Bahawalpur. Lodhran Khanewal expressway is complete, the road is perfect and very smooth. It saves a lot of time and you should definitely use it rather than the multan shujabad route.

Just traveled today, Khanewal-Bahawalpur-Khanewal, halfday trip, excellent road. A must use to save time.
