Long Self start on Altis grande

I had my car serviced about 4 days ago they cleaned the throttle , changed the spark plugs cleaned the injectors and the fuel filters. After the service mileage has improved also the pick is better . But on cold start car takes a long self. What could the problem be ?

Throttle must not be done right, take it to them and ask them to look into it. Or could be an electrical tuning issue. Either ways, they can fix it. how long a self are you talking about?

Assalam o aliakum bro i was also having the same problem after tuning then i went to a shop of the electrical kabli parts and he told me to bring the injectors along with the fuel pump so when he checked 1 of the injectors was leaking so he changed it and now my car is just perfect

I just bought a Grande 2019 model. Meter reading ma 65k driven aa rhe ha but I don't think that's true. Showroom se purchase ke ha or jab check krne gya tha to 5 7 dfa start ke 2 din ma different waqfay se but the starting and sound was very promising and quick. Payment ho gaye gari gher le ay and now car takes a long time to start. I asked some of the mechanics and they told me that the most probable issue is Fuel Pump.
Then comes injectors.
New Fuel Pump from Toyota Costs around 65k and all 4 injectors cost around 171k.
Obviously I'm not going to spend that much.

Today I'll be visiting a local mechanic and I'll let you know how it goes.

First of all you need to get the fuel assy removed, and pull out the fuel filter. And see if its too dirty and looks containing black sludgy fuel if yes, and the fuel strainer below the fuel assy is also black. If yes then get the fuel strainer and fuel filter replaced.

Its highly likely a case as suggested above since old owners don't even replace fuel filter and strainer for even 200k and they're lucky enough not to burn the fuel pump and in some cases fuel pump in such state dies @ 100-130k kmtoo. So get this done ASAP. It's a 7-10k job at most and this is must to do whenever you buy any used vehicle.

A local mechanic from my city told me to check the fuel pump first and then go for injectors.
But due to busy ramadan schedule i get off from work around 6 pm so I haven't got enough time to get the fuel pump checked yet. I'm planning to get it Checked ASAP.

I need another opinion from you guys.
The odometer is saying 65k on my car and I'm planning to get the CVT transmission oil changed ASAP. But I've heard numerous rumors that if transmission oil hasn't been changed on regular intervals and you try to change it after a long overdue, the transmission might not even go in the gear after oil change.
The regular interval for grande is 50k kms
So I'm unsure whether I should change the transmission oil or leave it be considering the fact that odometer is wrong and the car could've actual milage over 100k kms and the transmission oil has never been changed before?
Your input shall be helpful.

Such problems occur when the fluid introduced in system is totally new.

K313 has about 7.6 liter capacity

So replacing 1-2 liters of it with fresh fluid won't harm the transmission rather the transmission would run better and adapt to it,

Make sure you do it according to proper method (car perfectly level, 35-45 Celsius fluid temperature and after adding new fluid it should do a slow trickle from overfill bolt)

No no it's must you need to change it right away. No time delays and negligence. Nothing happens just open the sump and clean the strainer aswell.

Thank you usman bhai for your input. I'll keep your precautions in mind.
I'm planning on getting it changed by Toyota dealership rather than local mechanic.
But I've watched numerous videos on YouTube and different mechanics have measured about 3.7 liters of oil which is extracted from transmission chamber after removing the oil filter. That makes it about half of the oil. Should I go for it considering that fact that the actual milage could be over 100k and transmission oil is never changed before

Dani bhai Please don't mind my ignorance. But I don't think that the actual milage on my car is 65k. I'm not an expert but I think it would be over 100k and close to 115k. Would you still suggest me to go for the transmission oil change while considering the fact that previous owner have never changed the transmission oil for over 100k kms?

Do you want to change transmission?
If yes then don't change the transmission fluid.

Transmission fluid is the main essence of transmission.
And this is a very false and ambiguous logic that, since it's not changed so we should top-up.

The more early you perform this transmission fluid replacement done, the more chances of survival open up.

Its not false. Its a way to stretch whatever life the transmission has left. Say a car is 10 years old or 200k driven and oil has never been changed, it will surely mean that there will be damage to the gearbox, so instead of replacing the oil and facing transmission failure immediately, one should let it run till it naturally fails

You could simply check the colour of the oil, if it isnt jet black, change it. Most probably it would be brown

Does it run properly as of now?

If it does, get the oil changed immediately,

If u think there's slipping or jerks (other than slight jerkiness at 30-40kph speed when throttle position is varied, that's normal behavior for grande to jerk a little around that speed) then get the transmission inspected first.

40k interval is Indus's recommendation to dealerships,

internationally, the transmission is sealed for lifetime of vehicle & 60k miles (100k km) is suggested under severe usage but people have had the fluid changed under and way over that mileage without issues.

Ironic but K313 is kinda tough one among cvt transmissions
