I updated my Pro through app. Just connect your camera with PC, Laptop and look for updates in app on your phone. Pretty straight forward and easy.

My suggestions is to buy Pro Plus from Daraz. It will come in three, four weeks or even earlier. I also bought from Daraz in August, Sept and it is excellent purchase. No worries of customs .

Then it may have the latest update. BTW updates do not make any significant difference, not even 19/20. Just some fine tunning.

It has the old one. My only concern was not being able to see the speed and the gps coordinates on my dash cam. These two things are available only on the updated software.

Mine too had old one and I got official update via app. But speed and coordinates only show on dashcam and in the app when you replay the video. Once you download the video the speed and coordinate both vanish.

You need GPS for speed and coordinates. For Pro you will have to buy the GPS module separately, but in Pro Plus it comes built in.

I know all that about the GPS.
I have the GPS installed with my 70 mai pro but still there is no mention of the speed on the camera. I know it needs an update and there's none available for it. Yours must have updated somehow
