Hi everyone,
I'm in the market for a car with a budget of 7 to 8 lacs, but I need some advice. I'm considering a Honda Civic 1997 in good condition. I know it's an old model, but I've seen many still on the road, and I’m impressed by how well it competes in terms of looks and performance even today. My main concerns are the availability of parts and how long they’ll be around since the car is quite old. I don’t care much about resale value— I want to purchase it for me and my family. I’m okay with it giving 9-10 km per liter in the city.
On the other hand, I’ve been advised to go for a Suzuki Cultus 2005-2006, but most of the ones in my range are carburetor engines and aren’t in the best condition.
I took a mechanic with me and reviewed three cultus cars in these few days each of them were rejected from mechanic one was accidental, another one had engine swapped and was soon going to die, and the third one had too much rust.
I’d really appreciate some brotherly advice on whether it’s worth going for the Civic if it’s in good shape or if I should stick to the Cultus
