Looking for roof insulation

AOA,
I'm looking forward to insulating the roof of my car. I need ideas for insulation material other than jumbolon. what are options that are not expensive? also what adhesive should be used? I think samadbond might not work in high temperatures. I'm thinking of high temp silicone?

looking for ideas before i actually start work on it.

Try "Glass Wool" sheets with aluminum foil. Its used for air conditioning ducts.

use lambo sheets for roof insulation. its self adhesive and provides a good heat/sound barrier

i dont think they'd be effective for car roof insulation. they use trapped air for insulation. what would happen in such a small space i'm not sure.. i'll have a look at it..

searching around, i think its meant for sound insulation, is it suitable for extreme temperatures? roof temp when parked under direct sun easily crosses 50 deg.

around 1500-1600 for a lambo sheet, size 32"x18". also available (or shortly available) are stp and stinger sheets. all these sheets are meant for heat and sound insulation and have a very sticky material. they are used in car roof installaions regularly so u shouldnt face any issues with them

I also want to do the same DIY with my Mehran. I have plan to use jambo lawn sheet. But now lambo sheet ... Humm good to hear ... Keya karna chaheyea????

what did u ask them for? did u ask by brand name or did u ask them if they have any roof insulation material? by the way how many sheets do u need?

I used Aeroflex in my car for sound and heat proofing, it is self adhesive, size is quite bigger than a regular sheet of STP or Dyna, 6mm thick, water resistant as well, costs 1k per sheet.

i asked for lambo sheets, they were like... what?... then i asked for insulation material, anyone, eg. dynamat, they said no we dont keep it..

would f-10 shops have it, or neelum market? saddar... its really hard to spare time in Ramadan,

btw, i only need for heat insulation of roof only approx 5x6 feet..
