Assalam ualaikum everyone
I’m looking to buy new tyres for my Toyota Vitz 2014 and would really appreciate your help and guidance as this is my first time purchasing tyres and honestly, I have zero knowledge in this matter.
Some details:
1. Car - Toyota Vitz 2014
2. Commute - Daily city driving within Karachi
3. Budget - Around 60,000 to 70,000 max.
I understand the stock tyre size in 165/70/14 which would be the safer and obvious option. But I have also read online that 185/65/14 can also be good? Is this true or just personal preference for some reason? Which would be better for Karachi roads in terms of comfort, fuel economy and noise? If there are other options to consider feel free to suggest.
When it comes to brands or market prices I don't have much knowledge, not sure if my budget would allow me to go for brands like Yokohama, Bridgestone or Dunlop. And I have no idea if chinese brands are worth considering, definitely open to opinions and experiences.
I would really really appreciate if the experienced pakwheel guys here can share their recommendations on tyre size, best brand in my budget considering karachi road conditions and most importantly PLEASE RECOMMEND A TRUSTED AND RELIABLE VENDOR in Karachi where I can buy genuine tyres without worrying about being ripped off or ending up with used/2nd hand/refurb tyres.
