I have changed my choice of car from Gli to Altis 1.6 auto. thats the best we can do in our budget. grande is too expensive for me let alone Own money on top of its invoice price.

The car is specifically for my parents and i am willling to wait 2-3 months after booking.

PS Good news for you, toyota has cancelled lots of bookings which belonged to potential investors, opening up space for the end user to book their car

Bookings are expected to open in next month but for jun onward deliveries.

i seriously doubt the booking cancellation news., because Indus is nose deep for orders till October 2018.

Ok Thats true the Toyota has cancelled orders for over 1200+ Corolla Variants as stated in the newspaper.

I called upon my dealership and the story is very different.

all cancelled orders are of non-filer customers with non verifiable tracking record of financial transactions. That means the booking pay orders were made at banks using cnic & bulk cash. Soon All manufacturers will be doing the same under instructions from the FBR., or they all may face serious penalities.

cancellation of orders was a very nice step for the genuine customers as that will reduce the delivery time. Thing is, people pay in cash so that they may avoid taxes and they try to convert the black money into legal business.

a very nice initiative as this would put an ordinary customer at ease. i am glad that they came up with this.

if this is actually true then its a great step. maskeen buyers like me should be realized as true buyers, not the non-filers who book on cash and sell it on premium.

Have you been able to book your car? Today i booked gli manual here in Karachi for delivery month April 18. Initially i was told that all the allocations were finished and for July, booking was not opened. Involved IMC and got the car booked Alhamdulillah
