Looking to book Corolla GLI A/T for parents, fail to do so far

i am looking to book corolla GLI A/T for parents, i live in islamabad.

so going to toyota showrooms in isb was no help as they told me if you book today as of 08-Nov-2017 you will get your car around August, 2018 LOOOOOOOOOOOL.

so then i checked around the toyota availibility on their website and it showed Abottabad motors and Hyderabad Motors which can deliver the car in january, 2018.

i contacted abottabad motors and the guy said sorry we are booked till june 2018 we got gilgit orders lol (im sure he is lying) and i could not contact hyderabad point motors because their UAN number is dead.

so basically ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Buy slightly used vehicle, it should be good as new and readily available.

i understand but i want to buy the facelift model as it has the immobilizer and etc.

a used car demand is same as me buying brand new with by paying OWN MONEY. people are demanding rediculous amount of money for GLI A/T.

for example. new is for 1,964,000/- and people are demanding 2.2 million of the same USED car lol.

so better to buy new from toyota but the CHOR BAZAARI is so garam that people eventually end up paying OWN money which is black money.

bro the best thing for your parents would be to buy them vitz, aqua or prius....just my opinion

they will love it in all aspects

local cars are cheap material..poor milleage...whereas you can get good grade imported car just likenew...

You should be able to get clean 2016 model with immobilizer under 20 lacs (2016 May onwards model has immobilizer). Of course people ask more due to Withholding Tax + Car registration charges. Or you can buy Dec'17 model with less own on it. From Jan onwards own will soar again due to new model. I personally think there shouldn't be any impact but this is how average buyer thinks.

you see our parents dont believe in JUST LIKE NEW factor. my father is used to hassle free driving and for periodic maintenance takes car straight to 3s. i on the other hand never take my own car to 3s to save money
so best option right now is to get corolla as its the most comfortable local car.

currently parents own city 1.5 aspire auto and its the most uncomfortable car in the world, back then no immobilizer was being offered with corolla so i bought them city but now not a day pass without them complaining about how uncomfortable city is.

so GLI auto it is.

Book your car, tell the dealership that you are willing to buy a decmeber vehicle, and you will get one next month

Toyota abbott motors do get a large order of cars from gilgit region, i know the guy who is responsible to take those cars by road there. He told me they went there back and forth transporting corollas and fortuners this year. In fact we hitched a ride with them early this year to gilgit when we were stranded in mansehra due to no transport that day, that's how i got to know about this.

thats the main hurdle at the moment all the dealerships in islamabad are not taking bookings and asking to come in january to book the car LOOOL

After February 09 2018 all variants of Toyota Corolla will be 175000 and Honda Cars will be 195000 overloaded payable at time of delivery. Thank you Sitting Govt to Rob people.

a Fixed amount of approx 35000 will be charged by provincial revenue dept for registration of vehicles above 1300 cc in addition to WHT which is for federal reserve.

This price increase benefit will go straight to Sitting GOVT to announce last budget of their term in April 2018 with less of deficit.

Customer will Suffer GET SET ALL SET.

check elsewhere... these days, getting one from isb isn't an option, get it from elsewhere with the option to be ready to purchase a december car, and hopefully you will get one in the coming month because 8 out of 10 don't want a december car

Purchase 1.6 gli auto instead, 2016 end or 2017 start model and you will be able to get it in same price
Gli auto is one of the worse variant in terms of acceleration as well as fuel economy.

Could you explain what you mean? Is that an additional tax? And can you provide a source?
