- Compared to CD 70 there are 3 parts that are plastic.
Headlight assembly which doesn't get loose nor it breaks on light falls to side, as the handle + foot rest take the hit before anything else. But of course it can break if light is hit directly.
Second is the garnish around rear light, again it doesn't get loose unless one manages to break it. Usually the parking stand owners do it but nowadays even they are experienced with newer bikes.
Third is rear mudguard which was tight after 13 years of abusage as it was from factory on our CD100 2005. It's flexible enough that it doesn't break. It's essentially maintainance free, (unlike cg or 70's on which plastic splash guard needs to be changed every 3 months).
- The bike weighs 98KG (CG125 weighs 95KG) so you can't expect it to stop or turn on a dime like 75KG CD70.
It has higher momentum so one should ride it like a bigger bike (leaving more space for braking), our current pridor is on stock tyres with no issues (I rode it quite aggressively today), on our previous bikes, we got 6 ply tyres, not for grip but for durability
