Lost the running paper of bike

I lost the running paper of my motorbike 2 years back. The bike is in my brothers name.

I had lodged an FIR when the paper was lost/stolen.

Now:
1- what is the importance of the running paper, and what is the procedure to get the running paper back. Can I get the running paper, or would I have to apply for a duplicate registration book?
2- Since my brother lives abroad, would he be required in the process of getting the running paper/book?
3- Is having the running paper important? I have currently scanned and kept the second page (which is similar to the running page) with me when i travel. I have the original bike book with me.
4- Will it be required if we sell the bike, or if my brother transfers the bike in my name?

It's actually the license that is required to drive a bike.

Bikes papers are to show that its neither stolen nor non custom paid.

Which documents are you talking about?

frankly I did not knew that only one page is required...

But what happeend with me recently is even more worse...

A customs officers group were standing just beside Gujranwala Tool Plaza and I was comming back from ToliPir Hill top...

They stopped us and asked for registration book, I showed it to them they said also show custom delcration papers..

I said I dont have it they said.. "acha tu bike tu phir chori ki huwi, ye registraion book tu hazar rupay men jitni marxi banwa lo" ...

you can imagine the blood presuure raise I had on listening to what he just said...

I wonder ager meray pass us waqt sirf page hota tu unho nay kehna tha bhai aap tu India k jasoos ho or ye paper apnay radi men say uthaya hay
