Low Fuel Average

Aoa everyone. I recently purchased new Alto VXL. I have driven it only 150 Km so far and haven't gone beyond 60 Km/h. But the fuel average showing on the meter is very low. It's showing 11 Km/Liter. What could be the reason for this?

what grade oil are you using oil grade is 0w20 for alto

If it is brand new then dont think of any repair. Go to suzuki workshop and complaint there.

Heck, 150KM is nothing to evaluate fuel economy in a brand new car, get some prolong highway trips, have 4 to 5 fuel tanks filled, reset trip on every tank filled, observe it, on recommended mileage change the recommended engine oil, observe it, you can have some thoughts from the dealership regarding your concerns in between first inspection and first engine oil change.

So far, I would suggest you - not to worry about these things rather enjoy and observe the new ride.

You don't get 20 avg right outside the dealership lot.... It's only 150km driven man... Fuel avg will improve after first 1000km and will improve more after 5000km when oil will change.. remember to change oil with 0w20 grade
