it was a great episode.
really liked it.
i'll still go for a Lamborghini.
and i am pretty sure that if stig was driving that lambo, he would have stayed with SLR if not overtake it.

saw the 2nd episodes....it was great race......i wanted to see mclaren vs slr or vs lp670.....slr vs lp670 was short race....i wonder if they did the long race like veyron/mclaren race wat wud be the result.....oh btw lp670 got same timing of ferrari enzo on top gear track tht mean it's faster than slr on track

^^^^ but look at the weight .The SLR is 100 kg heavier and has less BHP but was only a second slower
LP640 may be faster on a track than a standard SLR but its gets spanked hard by a standard SLR in the straight line.

This lambo LP 670-4 SV isn't even in the league of SLR 722. Still it manages to run with 722. Also this SLR 722 is 100 grand more than this LP 670-4 SV which itself represents its different class.

anyway I still wont prefer Mercedes SLR 722 being compared with Lamborghini LP 670-4, Ferrari Enzo would have been a great choice(Y)

whatever u ppl say....winning is winning....whether it is inch or mile....the winner is slr...
no matter how much its heavier, no matter who has max torque, no matter who has max bhp...the fact is who ever cross the line is the winner....by any means....winner is slr....slr only lost with veyron...go search on youtube u all will get answer...

ferrari, lambos, porsche, saleen, gampat u want to race with slr 722 gt....bring it on!!! 722GT will knock ur teeths down ur throat...

the SLR is the best supercar IMO
u can use it everyday. whereas the Lambo needs tuning after every 1000 kms.
and we need a greener world too
the SLR is much of a greener supercar it only gives 348 g/km and don't know about the LP670 SV. but i know that the LP640 gives out 495 g/km so the LP670 SV would give over 500 g/km.
the main problem with the SLR are its stock tires which do not give proper grip.i can show u a vid of an SLR facing traction issues for the whole quarter mile.as far as the price is concerned its perfect. the Lambo is made up Aluminium and uses a little carbon fibre whereas the SLR is fully constructed from carbon fibre.
there is an issue with Lambos too about their inaccurate speedometer.they show more speed than what they are actually doing. this error is 5-6%.it means that Hammond in the vid did a 200 mph with the LP670 but the actual speed of the Lambo was no more than 188 mph.
