Do they have Kits where cutting genuine wires are not required?
Did they couple a pipe from your radiator to your kit for hot water re circulation?

For all lpg systems water pipe is mandatory .also its like cng fitting nothing is to be altered in wiring

Oh, okay.
What I've been told- Some wires are cut, so they can supply current to the Kit i.e Petrol/LPG/CNG switch etc.

yea u did mentioned it has capacity of 40kg, without ac it should give atleast 15km per kg n that could last some 600km

1kg would give u at-least 25km

Hi! Nice a good idea to start a separate thread for only LPG and a good policy not to discuss what not to..... Before converting to CNG I had installed LOVATO (original Italian Kit) LPG in my car, but at that time LPG filling was a problem you had to take out the cylinder to get it filled or replaced in any case was a hassle. But mind you the ride was superb almost like Petrol but in some case better than Petrol in case of no knocking. Pickup was superb and mileage/kg was also good. LPG, CNG are 3.41kg=4.54ltrs of petrol. No hassle of reducing the air intake as of in CNG. Really simple to install and run too. Since the Storing pressure is also very less than CNG so quite safe and moreover it is in liquid form so you get what is shown on meter while filling.

i'd expect some 14-16km without ac in local drive, no highways or expressway
though if per litre average is near to petrol then 16-18km per kg

burning gas in home stove doesn't need much pressure.

1BAR = 14.5psi.

your home stove will keep burning gas until you have 0.4psi or so.
But your kit wouldn't work at that pressure, it will stop passing sufficient gas to engine at such low pressure. normally kit works at above 14.5psi.

in that case i have an idea, keep two cylinders one for home one for car. When car cylinder gets empty, use it as home cylinder (because it still has 4kgs left) and put full cylinder in the car. I am sure every home has a cylinder so this way it wont get wasted..

only problem is, this can only work if one uses lpg cylinder instead of cng

water pipe is for winters, so that lpg wont freeze in winters, no need of it in cng cylinder so there is none

700 for parts and 800 for labor. some mechanics can do for 500.

how much time does it takes for fitting piping to lpg cylinder? the whole time taken for the process
n where exactly is he located in saddar? also can you pm his contact number?

n if u know any mechanic good enough with in islamabad, that'd be great too

It is connected with the cooling system pipes which are connected to the radiator. Yes it is required in summers too for lpg as lpg tends to freeze under pressure. One will face issue that gari chalti chalti band ho gaye, kuch dair petrol pe chalaye, dobara lpg pe ki tu chalne lag gaye.

Dear members 2 days ago i have converted my 98 indus corolla to lpg from cng . i will upload pics also the mechanic opens the cng kit and cleaned it and then he connected pipe for hot water and charges only 1500 rupees i have filled 10 kg lpg first time and the mechanic said first time it will not give good average because 2-3 kg gas remains in cylinder i will also update when the gas finishes

i thought that pipe thing would be required only in winters, i think this is the conversion thing people talk about that they got cng kit converted to lpg, just the addition of pipe to prevent lpg from freezing

then how can mr Azhar say that without any modification we can go for lpg? he never mentioned he is using water pipe and if it is needed

what about the cng meter under the hood, does that shows anything?
i dont even look at cng lights, they keep malfunctioning showing reserve early or one light etc, i just know by mileage that now cng is about to finish n secondly from cng meter

those yellow pipes are for lpg?

if we dont go for pipes, i guess lpg will just freeze like we need to warm up car in winters, shift to petrol, warm up n shift back to lpg in case of no pipes as some people are using lpg in cng cylinder without any mod
