The rate for LPG was 120/KG and the guy was behind miraj hotel he is just an ordinary LPG fliing guy and he was saying i will buy the CNG nozzle too and yes there was a guy adjacent to his shop who was running Honda Civic 2002 or dat shape model on LPG and that is EFI

if u visit this guy again can you ask him from where did he got lpg filled in cng cylinder n at what rate
also his civic is exi or vti n manual or auto n what average is he getting from it?

as i also own a pros eagle eye civic n interested to run it on lpg

100km in 10kg lpg...sir isnt it more expensive than running on petrol..considering a khyber does even 10/liter of petrol...

sorry bhai ji... my khyber does 11km per litre... means 1000 Rs main 99 km....

correction... on LPG, 10kg main 200 km... means 100per kG rate hai tu 1000Rs main yeh mujay almost double millage day rahi haii.... sorry for the mistake

this means lpg falls between petrol and cng...not bad afterall..considering the fact that there wont be any cng available for 3 months of winter..plus the khawari of cng..lpg is worth it..

yep may be between CNG and Petrol but LPG is far better than CNG.... No harm on Carb and plus thing pickup is same like Petrol....

One thing here i wana mention isnthis... one has to get Warm water piping to control freezing of Evaporator of Kit....

and i am getting low avg others r getting 250km in 10kg... coz of better kit condition... my kit is old and need service, plus there is a leakage someqhr in Kit and piping.... dats why my avg on both CNG n LPG is bad...

better avg comes wen thr is no leakage, kit shud b in better condition, there is warm water piping... plus ur carb butterfly shud b in good condition too...

You can use if there's no oil in cylinder. Its better to get cylinder and kit cleaned but not necessary.

You can use it straight away too. I said it is better to get kit and cylinder cleaned. It'll remove oil from cylinder and sludge from kit. If there would be oil in cylinder you car will give blue smoke (just the oil of cylinder burning, nothing to worry about if your engine is ok)

bought a civic reborn 2010. wanted to install lpg cyclinder
have a cng kit in hand (of my previous honda city).
Want to inquire how much damage lpg will do to reborn engine.
Plus how much is diference of mileage in Petrol/CNG/LPG

When LPG is burned on a stove, the Pot/Pan turns black and say your hand touches the black part, your hand turns black as well.
Does that happen to an engine that runs on LPG as well? Since, I've read that running LPG, your engine oil doesn't get as black, compared to using Petrol.

To test this- Try to cook something on a LPG stove, using your Mrs. favourite pot and watch her reaction.*
* I am not responsible if you get your bones broken or you have to eat from local Dhaba for a month.

Last winter this guy was giving lpg at 170/kg and btw he uses yellow cylinders...

It gets black only if stove jets/nozzles are of normal methane. Lpg stoves have special jets which dont cause the pots to get black.

As far as engine is concerned that's a good point but i guess shouldn't be a problem because engines have good supply of air and are tuned to get maximum combustion. Still gotta confirm

yea he mentioned pump in tarlai but that's pretty far
i thought this guy might b getting it filled from some near by place
otherwise a wise decision would b domestic lpg cylinder, fill it from any where

I have already mentioned that I am using cultus EFI for 2 months on LPG, without any alteration to
CNG kit. While coming back from peshawar to lhr @ 120 with AC got an average of 24.

after you lol actually i haven't yet decided whether to use cng cylinder or lpg. Also the rates of lpg keep fluctuating so i wonder what will be the savings in the longer run
