Will the hot water pipes solve LPG freezing issue in my cylinder i dont think soo but i will try
@chaudhary9 yeah my LPG was finished and i got 5 KG today again and it was finished again after 71 km so i m not getting very good average

sometimes you feel your lpg has finished and you convert to petrol but when next morning you try again it starts driving again on lpg. This happens when hot water pipes not connected. And lpg doesnt freeze in cylinder and lines but in the kit.

freezing issue is solved with hot water pipe for every1 so y not u as well

damn thats not good at all even though u got the setting done as well, were u flooring? wid or widout ac?
wid ac its still fine but 8.45rs/km is kind of expensive for daewoo, for me it would be in middle of petrol n cng but i hope to get good avg to get rid of cng

so u got more lpg or shifting back to cng?

It would be around 4-6 rs/km depending upon the car.

My cost is 4-5 on cng and 10-12 on petrol. If lpg gives 8 then am good. Any more then that is not feasible

today my dad tried the car on lpg

he said pick is great, but after driving 8km at 80-90 speed, car switched off maybe due to freezing of lpg, then it wasnt starting
switched to petrol which took a long sulf

then after driving on petrol for 6km switched back to lpg widout any issues n rest 4km it went fine at speed of 60

its strange though that it froze so quickly, maybe its new in system as yet thats why

My civic used to do that. When the kit was serviced and hot water pipes connected it worked fine. I drive it on 120 for about half an hour without any problem

I m not sure whether it'll keep it doing or not. In some case cars worked well at high speeds even without hot water pipes. In my case the issue was there and solved by hot water pipes. You should get hot water pipes. Not only it'll help you on lpg but even on cng you'll get better milage.

tried wid ac, pick is quite great even wid ac
u dont feel any load of ac though it was a short drive of total 8km

how much does it costs? n time of installation?

i guess any cng mechanic can install these pipes if he has the pipes

Good mechanic who knows the work will take 30-45 mins. 2 T shaped pipes n two rubber pipe required.

Dear Mates,

Need suggestion from you people. I have swift 2012 and have been driving it on Patrol.

I am considering to get it converted to LPG.

Please guide me any good workshop for conversion and suitable kit (SIS etc).

Also If someone could quote approx cost for whole process.

can any 1 help me here?my car is baleno 2003 late model 1.3cc jxr it has factory fitted cng....the problem i am facing from almost 3 years is that once the car is warmed or hot it doesnot convert from petrol to cng it starts well on petrol but when i try to convert it to cng the engine shuts down.....once i let it too cool down for sometime then it starts converting from petrol to cng without any problem please some 1 help me is this the problem of cng advancer nd emulator or something else??

it is the fault of cng conversion switch,get it replaced.

Dude only 2T's will cost you around 300 to 400 + the cost of pipe which is 80/ft and u will require atleast 3 to 4 ft of pipes which will again cost you around 300 for me the cost of pipe is 560 only + 2 T's 400 so in total hot water connections will cost me like 960

I don't know the break-up but for my civic I paid 300 or 350.

pick is going great for me so far n its really fun to drive on lpg, even by maintaining low rpm it picks speed easily
maintained speed of 80 on expressway, even went to 100 for a moment, no freezing issues
just hope to get a good average
