seems like lpg has got some issue wid my dad lol

i drove it at night time, n felt if its like going to switch off but it didnt n worked fine

now when i started the car, rpm dropped to 0, gave little race, it came up, then my dad took the car, n he told me car turned off 3 times, once going n twice while coming back, there was alot of rush n it was turning off when coming to a stop, so he switched to petrol n to lpg, strange thing its happening wid him only n didnt happened wid me even once even when i drive it all the time

he thought its setting issue but seems like will have to get those hot water pipes installed, wid this petrol conversion how em gonna get the accurate avg :mad:

going for 10kg more lpg tomorrow, it might finish off till then or maybe not
so far covered around 134km including few on petrol
lets see if cylinder keeps 3 or 4 or 5kg of lpg unused, i had 14kg filled

How will u know how much is left? Btw may be u drive without ac while ur dad with it

well i was going to get it filled after it would finish but depending upon usable kg's i guess it'll give like 150-160km if avg of 15 or 16 wid 10kg used n i have to travel more on wednesday n dont wanna travel on petrol so going for refill tomorrow

Couldnt get cng today lol. Mb ill try some lpg but what happens of the leftover lpg in tank if i later want to get cng again

i paid 400 service charges+700 for two 't' and 200 for pipe so total =1300 for my liana in faisalabad today

Dude only 2T's will cost you around 300 to 400 + the cost of pipe which is 80/ft and u will require atleast 3 to 4 ft of pipes which will again cost you around 300 for me the cost of pipe is 560 only + 2 T's 400 so in total hot water connections will cost me like 960

pick is going great for me so far n its really fun to drive on lpg, even by maintaining low rpm it picks speed easily
maintained speed of 80 on expressway, even went to 100 for a moment, no freezing issues
just hope to get a good average

Yeah i got about 8.7 KG again and today again my washle leaked i dont know y its happening again and again looks like i have to go back to CNG as i m getting 15km/KG only on daewoo 1500cc engine+ 150 of washle for the first time and tom 150 more so not a good bargain for me atleast

Well i think LPG is good for small carrs 1000cc or below coz all other ppl i have met are not getting 20+ or even 20. Most of the guys who have 1500+ engines are getting somewhat 15 to 16km/KG and for me Rs150 extra too for 2 out of 3 refills and if i continue using LPG then i dont know how many times i have to pay 150 extra for every refill

A friend of mine who has a mehran which totally farigh engine as his mechanic have told him a lot of time to get his engine repaired but being Pakistani his approach is jab tak chal rha hai chalnay dein he is even getting 19km/KG and i think what we all think that some LPG is being left is a lie and i dont think any LPG is left specially in this sort of heat in winters u can say so but in this scorching heat i dont think so

well atleast the guy who is filling keeps switching between cng n lpg widout thinking anything so perhaps u can also try that

otherwise get your cylinder out, invert it n get that lpg filled in ur lpg domestic cylinder

y dont u ask the guy who fixed the old one as y it keeps getting out, also when u got it filled, was the cng nozzle pushed till its limit or something i.e ur car was far?

no one except u is facing this issue, its same normal cng nozzle, what seems to be wrong in ur case

ended at 142km wid those few km of petrol as well, seems like 14-5 = 9kg consumed
anyways got 5kg more filled, will drive wid out ac, lets see how much avg it gives this time, feel a bit disappointed but lets see now,most of it will be used by tomorrow, might end as well

Got ten kg filled in cuore about one week before. It ended today after 230 km. Don't know how much is left unused or not. Will have refill tomorrow and after that it would be known the true average.

I expect to take it to at least 30 pet kg with more careful driving and sophisticated settings. For the moment I only adjusted current' quantity' idle and removed air blockage.

Seee i told u that 1000cc cars or below are giving amazing average on LPG whereas we r f****d coz petrol is too expensive and CNG long queues BTW @chaudhary9 dude u have to adjust your supply from that CNG adjustment valve and as i said yesterday none of the LPG is left mostly due to weather and this friend here is getting 230 in 10KG *mouthwatering and i m sure that he might have consumed it all and 142 is some serious thing get your CNG adjusted coz i m afraid to say dat there are very bright chances that u might have consumed it all too.

Before weighing my statement people should know that I drive on very lean settings with some hypermiling techniques on Islamabad roads. Although this time these techniques were not that much used with a view to finish LPG quickly.there is one problem so far that I have to take out oils/liquids from the kit everyday that remains out of LPG.

I am sure my car would've done 280-300 in 10 KG. Find me an installer for Swift in Lahore, ASAP
