Aoa. Im from lahore. I have honfa city 2006 CNG installed. Now im planing to shift to LPG. Plz tell me Tesla kit is good or not?

tried moving T bolt by half turns to left, about some 4 times realising it can go alot more, went back then 4 times to right n then back to left 3 times
anyways started the car, gave 2 half turns to left, rpm came up to 1, adjusted idle screw near to left

tried a test drive but on turn again it turned off :mad: where as even on slowing down to 0 but moving rpm was at 1 but on turn again it turned off, shifted to N, started the car n it stayed started, reached home n parked it, again at stand still rpm was fine now, both in D n R
seems i got to visit the cng mechanic to see if he can do some miracle

though currently em just moving the T bolt on pure guess but i do feel that car isnt rumbling but i see that after giving race when it comes down to 0

this means t-bolt is setting is fine. Now you gotta adjust idle screw but am not sure which screw you are moving because you say its not making any difference. Go to mechanic before it gets out of hands lol

its the lower one, located at the bottom of the kit, one on the side at middle doesnt moves at all, i dont know if there is any other nut to move
if i move T bolt to right car just wont stay started, if i move it to left which i have to every time on start up then idle rpm comes up at 1 but still on turns its turning off n did the same at night time too :mad: though now its better some what in a sense that if i dont stop it completely it wont turn off, n i thought its getting better n then right on turn it turned off leaving me in the middle of road though it did crawled to the second lane
will go to the mechanic now at morning time, waiting for asim to share about pipes n his contact no so i can also go there

leave the t-bolt where it works the best (since you have found that position)
Are you sure you are moving the nut which is mentioned in picture in previous pages? (the one i shared) This screw also has a spring with it (another way to confirm if you are moving the right screw or some other one)

Rpm dropping at turns or at signal when you slow down is usually due to idle screw. You can try going to mechanic and ask him to do it, if you want to do it yourself. Then first confirm you are moving the right screw, secondly if it is making no effect, then there may be some problem with idle adjustment... for that you still gotta see mechanic.

If everything is ruled out, then probably kit is not working well with lpg. How about going to sajid cng as asim suggested. That mechanic seems to know about cng kits with lpg

that's not the idle speed adjuster, have a look at this pic:

And chaudhary, i already know how to do settings, even then i was facing issues and you are gonna learn it now. like i said settings once done cannot be changed unless you do it again. Those screws do not move on their own...

Yar y r u moving T bolt again and again when it has nothing to do with your rpm drop issue when you know its because of that freezing issue

Hi friends

one of my friends has installed LPG gas cylinder along with cng kit in his carby cultus , he is getting good results.
this is because LPG exists in liquid form , and due to LPG Cylinder top mounted oulet valve (see attached pic), first it get converts into vapors (gas state) than it travels to CNG kit which regulates and mixes air into it and subsequently feeds to the engine.

now if we use CNG cylinder it has out let valve on one side (middle)(see attached pic) and due to liquid state of LPG , if filled in CNG cylinder it some times travel in liquid form to the CNG kit and the problem starts, because regulater of cng kit is designed to regulate a gas, not a liquid.

Yar y r u moving T bolt again and again when it has nothing to do with your rpm drop issue when you know its because of that freezing issue

because its helping in bringing up the idle rpm every time

LOL you have to move that one! the lower one which you are moving is hot water pipe outlet. And you are probably moving its cap... (correct me if i am wrong)

it was some screw that i was moving

anyways went to khattak n even he was unable to do the setting because the issue was something else

it wasnt hot water pipes but the kit is full of oil from lpg usage, he opened that idle rpm spring n said see it is full of oil n even this spring has oil on it, u need to get your kit serviced, i told him to just open the drain nut n he said no no that wont help ur kit is full of oil, i insisted n he opened it n alot of oil came out, so this oil was the issue, he said there's so much oil n because of this it wasnt keeping the settings, btw i saw his hand, that idle scew is some where on top n i was looking at the bottom, n yea i saw it had spring as well, i asked him to show me where it is n he said u'll get its smell on ur hand which wont go :S khair next time i know where to look for atleast

i asked him to adjust T bolt n he said its already fine where it is even though i told him that i changed its position :o

today even he asked me to keep a constant race at fixed rpm when he was setting idle rpm

he's asking 1200rs for servicing the kit n said get it done ASAP n that cng setting may get bad again due to this

though even now on stopping rpm comes down to 0 n car trying its best to turn off but shukar hai it didnt the whole time even when i was stuck at that military check post on pesh road

ask sajjid cng how much he takes for servicing the kit, though i think draining oil should be enough, i just need the screw key to open the nut, but i wonder if i can place it back myself, btw to put it back if oil is needed to b drained, let it keep draining drop by drop by keeping it open all the time?

khattak also said that those lpg guys seem to b filling oil more than the gas itself from the looks of it, so draining oil is a must wid lpg

he said u dont need hot water pipes for this issue, it has nothing to do wid that

i wont b going to him the next time, as he keeps asking for money for setting every time even if i'll go next day though he's the one to set it on previous day, says ab hum b mazdoori krne k liye bethey hain

i guess i should try myself once n keep draining oil every day instead of getting kit serviced otherwise lpg instead of being eco is gonna be alot of kharcha only

Yes but rest of people (asim zia etc) using lpg are not getting this much oil, whats with your case...

who knows their kit might b full of oil as well, another member sarimzia who has cuore drains oil every day, y wud he do it every day if it isnt this much

got oil drained from my santro and mehrans cng kit. santro had at least 200-300ml oil in it. and mehran had a little less then that...

Asim here i removed the oil when i started using lpg but u have to remove it once every 2 weeks
