I think you have just bought brand new mehran. Why don't you keep it for a year or two so that you may have real fun of new car. After that, go for the options like CNG or LPG, depending upon the situation

CNG is certainly not an option for me. I'm asking about LPG because the car's performance is not compromised on LPG. My car gives good mileage but traveling is alot so I need a little more cheaper option.

lpg is feasible in summers.in winters it would b so expensive that running cost might get equal to petrol. invest accordingly

Yes hashim bhai I do know that, but prices here don't go as high as in Islamabad and areas ahead. I'm still looking if I could find someone who is already running on LPG. Only then I'll make my decision about going for LPG or not. Till then petrol khappay

a friend of mine is running LPG in Euro II bolan EFI engine. 22km per kg average but Mehran will do better as Bolan is commercial use made and uses more power than mehran to run! In my calculation mehran will give u around 30+ mileage, moreover, engine wear n tear is ZERO. it is as good as petrol.

I have heard that Euro II mehrans start to create problems when altered in any form, like installing cng and sometimes aftermarket AC installation.

I have personally come across a 2014 E2 Mehru that has become a headache after installation of CNG, the owner has even changed the ECU but car is not stabilizing.

Also saw a '13 E2 VXR standing at AC workshop for compressor change, when asked the shop keeper why the owner didn't claim in warranty. He told me that the company rejected warranty claim for compressor as according to them the culprit was CNG installation

With such stories I don't think its worth risking with any kind of alteration during the warranty period.

i would go for it as well for my cultus. as petrol is expensive for me and car's mileage is not outstanding that i rely on petrol only. need cheaper option as well. @zia1288 do let me know as well brother

I'm getting 16.5-17.5 Km/l without A/C and around 14.5-15.5 Km/l with A/C.

mine is giving max 10 to 11kmpl....i am maintaining it from suzuki sethi motors....they say that all the sensors etc are working fine and it wont consume more fuel..they checked everything by attaching tech-2 scanner

I guess mehran wale ya tu cng ki lines mei hain ya phr petrol hi chalate ja rahe hain
