Rightly said, and agreed, and that's why oil companies take certification / licensing from API, that their oils meet (or exceed) the criteria set by API, and have their donut / seal placed on their packs. Even if Amsoil's criteria exceed API's criteria, then what's the harm in taking certification / license from them?
API, ILSAC, ACEA, etc. are some of the International bodies / licensing authorities, and they have set some min. standardization criteria, for some reasons (i.e. details / licensing criteria should be uniform throughout the world and all companies on one page).
Even if their oils exceed API's criteria, then what's the harm in taking certification / licensing, and come at par with rest of the world's companies? International certifications are there for some reasons.
Do they offer fully synthetics 0w-16, 0w-20, 5w-20, 5w-30 grades in these series?
Ye to bilkul aisay hi hai, jaisay koi banda claim karay k main Harvard, MIT, Oxford, Cambridge, etc. k kisi b doctorate sey zyada competent and qualified hoon, but meray paĂĄs degree / certification nai hai, aur na hi main loĂłn ga, aur na hi mujhay degree ki zrurat hai'
(Just imagine, will someone believe in such guy, and trust him to take important tasks? I think No)
