I think all your questions were answered in your previous post no?
Did you rectify the problem or is the tensioner still slapping away? Repair the bad tensioner first or it will cause damage. And check your oil level
5w30 is perfectly fine. However, consult your owners manual for correct oil grade selection.
I have a Suzuki every 2015 turbo model, all local mechanics say "Bhai Jaan, das chali dalo sirf. Yay gaariya bas 10w40 layti hein"
I found the Japanese owners manual and see that 5w30 is the only recommended grade. It's amazing how much information you can find about your car, just by spending some time to read the manual. Forget what most local mechanics say, READ YOUR MANUAL. I think the guys who designed and built the car from scratch know what's best rather than the local ustaad ji. I am switching to 5w30 on the next change. Make sure the oil is genuine and not fake
Also, make sure you use a good quality oil filter. As I have learned/learning, lots of garbage quality parts are available here so you have to be careful.
Fix your car and use the recommended oil grade. Will the car run on 40 weight oil? Yes. Is it better for the car? Maybe, maybe not. I'd still stick with the recommended grade.
