yesyamaha pak recommends 3k for semi-synthetic, although personally, I prefer fully synthetic for 3k like zic m9yamaha pak FB post, same is recommended in user manual too

Looks like I'll have to shift to yamalube semi synthetic. Any other better alternative since I still can't find zic m9 and probably won't be able to in the near future as well. Are the zic semi synthetics any good? Zic m7?

AOA PakWheelers, mere pas altis 1.6 2017 model hai.. gari 143000km chal gai hai..
Need recommendation which engine oil is good after driving that much 143000KM's and also in how many KM's and Time, engine oil need to change?
Additionally if someone recommend from where i would change Engine oil in peshawar?

Recommended is 5w30 fully synthetic
Its recommended to change oil every 5000 km
Some oils can go upto 10-15000 km but u have to strictly use oem filters and clean airfilter after every 2-3k
Mobil 10000 km
Valvoline 8000 km
Liquimoly 8000 km
Amsoil 15000 km

Havoline 5000-7000 km
Total 5-7000 km
Pso 5000 km
Shell 5000 km
Toyota tin pack 7000 km
Toyota plastic bottle 5000 km
These all are reputable oil brands

Synthetic oils can last longer.
Either you can change after 5-7K KMs depend on the oil you are using or change it after 6 months if the mileage is still not completed.

Use genuine Toyota transmission fluids for Toyota cvt cars, they are very sensitive

All fully synthetic oils can easily be used till 15000 kms without any damage to engine.
They KM range interval you share is for mineral based oils.
One is history’s biggest idiot if he/she spend thousands on fully synthetic oil and change them at 5000 to 7000 kms with having advantage.

I will still call them Idiot because that’s common factor they are missing and I don’t need to repeat the school. Someone is enough educated still believes road side uneducated mechanic by spending thousands on service still don’t want to research basic thing they should be labelled as at least idiots. Which brand of 5w30 or 5w40 are you using ?

Bought in November last year 40K driven at that time. 1st oil toyota Tin pack 5w30 very good oil it was. Change interval was 5000 km. Mostly driven in the city.

Then PSO 5w30 API SN CF. OCI 5000 kms again. Oil was in bad condition, slightly reduced when changed at 5000 kms. Mostly driven on long and hilly areas. I won't prefer using PSO again.

This time went for 5w40 shell. Wanted to observe any difference and to be on the safe side due to the hotter weather in the twin cities.

If we search on web all suggest to pour 3.4 litres for 2sz fe if vitz model is 1999 to 2005 . If model is 2006 to 2010 then 3.2 litres . I am confused as I have converted vitz . How much should I add ? If even I pour 3 litres dipstick shows full mark ,why is it so ? Kindly help

It's a damn confusing thing when you pour 3 L and it shows full.
Yes basically it works like this but you will be stretching the hell out at higher rpms so pour in 3.6 L if your 2sz have a aluminum oil sump and if it has black iron sump then pour in 3.2 L

Any other clue besides oil sump ? Engine upper portion seems to be aluminium one .

No not dangerous. You can overfill till 1 quart and after that it ll bust seals.

I think Toyota recommends 5w30 or 10w30 for 1gd engine . Ck4 or cl4 API
