this time please decline their suggestion and do that after "6000 kms"
3S are scammer specially when saheb ki gari driver takes to workshop.
am sure since past 3 oil changes they billed but never changed the oil.

Go by your owners manual.

My pajero specifies 7500-10,000 Km intervals. I am doing them every 6000kms. Diesel filter 10k Kms, air filter 7-10k Kms with monthly/regular cleaning with compressed air.

Ensure that you regularly get your air filter checked, cleaned and replaced when necessary. Use good quality engine oil. Regularly change your diesel filter.

All of this and more information is all available in your vehicles owners manual. Please anyone who is reading this, if you don't know anything about your car and have questions, please don't rely on your local ustaad who thinks he knows what he's doing. READ YOUR OWNERS MANUAL. the engineers who designed your car from the ground up know more than local ustaad on what oil to use and what maintenance schedule to follow. If you have an imported car, I follow the 'severe' schedule for maintenance.

You can overfill it by 0.75 L nothing happens it has room

Use only 5w30 engine oil viscosiiand a proper synthetic oil should be used and oil change interval is 10000kms to 15000kms.

My car haa been going for Maintainance after every 2500km. They have changed the oil 6-7 times till 18500kms (all bills are available with me).

Has anyone used Zic oils for long term? I am currently using 5w30 from total and looking to go to 0w30-5w20 oil. Just for fun

Most brands of this grade have either outdated api rating ,even lower than API SN or just not available

Zic is the few ones who claim to have the higher rating with API SP with GF6 certification as opposed to the outgoing older api SN gf5 from Total and Shell which there is nothing wrong to use this rating too and will not be discontinued.

My only concern would be if the do actually meet the rating since this is Pakistan lol

Zic is good oil if you find genuine. BTW Total has also moved to API SP spec.

Honestly you won't find much difference between brands as long as they meet a particular API spec. You will definitely notice the difference when you change the grade. With 0W-30, you will have better fuel economy in short trips.

Also advise if suzuki is giving any free service of any offer on this ?

Please read the user manual that came with ur car and follow the maintenance schedule in it.

First oil change comes at 5k km

I’m using Havoline 0w20 engine oil in my Civic 10th Gen. I have driven the car for 150k kms. Now since last oil change I’ve observed through dipstick that it has consumed a bit of engine oil. The engine is running fine and fuel consumption also. What could be the possible reason? Should I move to thick engine oil grade or something’s wrong with my engine? Kindly guide.

In case of Civic X and XI, the only option given on the manual is 0W-20. These turbo GDi engines are very sensitive to oil grades. Using any other grade may cause more harm than any good.
Better to keep topping the oil until you find the root cause. It could be as simple as PCV or valve seals or as complex as worn piston rings or cylinder walls.

I don't think it civic turbo, he just said civic if that is the case I have seen r18 work flawlessly on 5w-30 too

Yes correct, r18 engine can work smoothly with 5w-30. He can switch to it but don't use thicker grade than that. I would still recommend to find the reason for oil reduction. Otherwise this issue will keep getting severe with time.

The oil consumption MIGHT be due to a chocked air filter. Happened to me (Civic)...
Air filter was dirty, didnt clean it and used it for 5000 km + did a lot of high rev accelerations.... That time engine oil was significantly reduced (till half of dipstick)...
