Hello everyone, I need some expert advice!
I recently purchased a 2017 Civic X, which has been driven about 88,000ā89,000 km. However, Iām unsure if this mileage is accurate, as I donāt have any service history for the car. To be safe, Iām planning to get the gear oil changed (CVT Gear Box), but Iām a bit confused about the correct procedure.
One Honda dealership quoted me for just changing the gear oil (3.5 liters) and the warmer filter. But when I checked YouTube videos, they showed that I also need to replace the pan filter (the large filter inside the gear oil) along with the warmer filter, and this requires more than 3.5 liters of oil.
So, whatās the correct process? Has anyone here done this before? Also, can anyone recommend a good Honda dealership where I can get this done properly? Iād prefer to have it handled by Honda for peace of mind.
Thanks in advance for your help!
