I changed cvt from Toyota Rawal motors at 40,000 km but all they did was one cycle
After reading a full thread here, I am pretty confused
Can u guide me Wht to do now ?

I did changed the cvt fe oil at Toyota Rawal motors.
They followed the procedure except one issue.
They only did one cycle and after that started engine and kept in all gears for few seconds.
Then turn the engine off and recheck and refill the level of cvt oil

Please guide me what to do ?
Cvt changed at 40k km and now car’s odo meter is at 51k

Dear sir; dealership dint follow the correct procedure. At this mileage u must go for 3 cycles as recommended.
However it’s hard in summer to get vehicle cool down thrice. Do choose dec to feb for cvt fluid change.

02 change were done by lube Shope at johar town Lahore …. Good but not to my satisfaction. 3rd one done my self with learning from pakwheel….
Great experience and satisfied with the correct level of fluid at specified temperature. Going good till now.

I am confused about one thing
During 2nd cycle and third cycle, I will drain and the will use fresh oil?
What will be the time duration between two cycles ?
And after third drain, when I will activate cvt temperature control mode, I will refill after resetting temperature ?

Total cvt fluid in transmission is about 7.5 l …. With 01 fill only 2 to 2.2 l replaced…..1st cycle only dilution of 27% achieved. With gear movements between cycles u circulate tor mix the oil in transmission. Three cycle about 65-75 % oil refreshed.
In last cycle you fill the fluid and at certain temp. range achieve the exact quantity or level of fluid by draining extra fluid.

Hello all senior pakwheelers.... was just curious about air filter thingy... Whether to use OEM or local like guard or ones being sold as malysian toyota filters.... was astonished to know that OEM filter change interval is 80k kms??
kindly enlighten
