Works perfectly for my Toyota Premio 2007

I am using havoline 20w-50 in my alto 2009 model register in 2012.
Kindly suggest me best engine oil for my car.they give me 16 to 18
Km/litter. In long route.

I own a 2012 Corolla 1.6 Altis that is currently at 150,000km.
Over the past year I have experienced loud engine noise with high RPM and a rattling noise from the engine. Also a a significant drop in fuel average despite having a light foot.
I read articles about using a thicker oil for cars with high mileage.
Should I change 10w-40 or 20w-40 oil?
Or is there something else I can do?

I will suggest 5w40 or 10w40, but Toyota dealer use Toyota oil 20w50.

If we list down different brands of oil in order of preference, regardless of price, what would the list be like?
I dont think Toyota has changed specifications for gen2 GD engines.

As far as i have observed we have no option in 5w30 category in local oils like Shell Caltex Total etc
Imported oil is not a best option as they are not sometimes available plus they are very expensive
Only option after 5w30 is Shell ultra 5w40 fully synthetic if anyone using this oil can share their experiance
