Hi all Pakwheelers!

I have a confusion regarding engine oil for Honda Civic 2013 9th generation. I bought it recently and it's 61,000 KM driven. I went to Honda Drive In for its engine oil change last month. I was expecting that they will use 5w-30 engine oil but they said 5w-30 is for cars driven less than 50k kms and your has passed this point so will use 10w-30 and they showed history of my car in their system that last oil used was 10w-30 as well (Car is totally maintained by Honda drivenIn, seller gave me complete history as well) and then I decided to continue with 10w-30 and having no issues in the car AlhumdulilAllah.

But confusion starts from here, my friend who has similar car with 71,000 KM driven, he took his car today to same Honda 3s for oil change, they told him that we'll use 5w-30 engine because till 100,000km we use 5w-30 and then we use 10w-30. that's my confusion who to trust the guy who did my car oil change or this guy who did for friend's car.

Anyone who can guide which engine oil grade is recommended for Honda Civic 2013 with 60k to 70k mileage and do we have anything concrete to say which oil grade is recommended according to car's year and mileage

Why do u want to use honda branded oil in toyota, if u want to use 5w30 ilsac, use total 5w30 api sp and ilsac gf6a

Who imports valvoline in pakistan? The ogra oil import licenses mention liqui moly, mobil and few others but not valvoline. Anybody importing and marketing oil in pakistan has to get license from ogra.
