Zic, havoline, magnatec and shell fully synthetic are good enough to use for 5k kms and even more in some cases.

What is the best luricant in Pakistan for car buyers? Vasaline! You guys pay the prices of almost double than USA and get the most pathatic un safe cars from Toyota and Honda. I wish Pakistani transportation ministry get their head out of the rectom and do something for their people who getting screwed by these robbers.

Farhansa,
All lubricants available in the world are same and varies only by their API & SAE. Companies in Pakistan have almost same API grades lubricants available, either its Shell, PSO or Caltex. Higher the API means better performance. SAE 20W50 & 15W40 are fine for Pakistani weather. Secondly it depends on your car & model. Using higher API grade in old cars won't serve the purpose. API SG grade lubricants can be used upto 5000 Kms easily. But also use genuine filters.

In my opinion only and only ZIC is one for our enviorment. Its beyond doubt a very good oil. The one thing i like about Suzuki workshops is that they use ZIC as well. My father only uses ZIC in our all cars and is indeed very satified.
