Got mine changed recently from Honda official service center in Karachi, Nazimabad.
They also changed from the drain bolt and 3 liters of transmission fluid came out and 3 liters were exactly added.
Before changing they (Honda service supervisor) also told me that 1 in 10 cars may give transmission issues after changing transmission fluid even if the car was running perfectly fine before the oil change.
Completely changing the full transmission fluid required removing the torque converter which is not recommended.
You just change 3 liters of old oil, add new honda genuine oil, pray that your transmission survives, then after 5 to 6 months again change 3 liters.
This is the safest way to completely change your transmission fluid if your unsure about your transmission history.

Spent a lot of time reading the thread.
Just one question I just got my Corolla 1.6 auto 2022 serviced from central motors at 10k kms.
They have put 5w50 taglon. And right after that I can feel my car heavier with an urge to push the pedal more.
Do u guys recommend changing the oil to 5w30 right away considering that it's driven just 300km on the new oil.

sir ji u shall better change engine oil immediately. I suggest use a clean container to store that 5W-50 give it free to any taxi or pickup driver.

Yesterday I got Taglon Supreme fully synthetic 0w20 for my Vitz 2018 (1.0) from Toyota Central Karachi. I was using Taglon X 5w30 before this so have to see what impact this one will have on the fuel economy.
What total mileage would you guys suggest for replacement for this? They have marked this to be used with Hybrid vehicles and price of around 5,200 is a bit on the higher side.
They filled around 3 L in the 1KR (will check exact) but packing was 3.7 L.

Hi, my car’s engine is being completely rebuilt and hopefully they will assemble it back tomorrow. I am confused now about the engine oil grade after reading conversation. I am gonna use car in Islamabad and Mansehra. Shouldnt it be SAE 20W40 engine oil (-10 centigrade to 50 centigrade) as mentioned on the chart? Or am I missing something here?

AoA i have just bought a used honda city 1.3 MT. Can anyone recommend me the oil grade for it. According to an online manual of honda city they recommend 10W30. Moreover, my car engine is perfect and soundless

Dear Atta,
The things you mentioned are friction modifiers which are used to avoid metal ti metal contact. During engine break in the friction is allowed for proper seating of rings etc. What is reason for suggesting the above mentioned products for engine break in?

It was old research on how loose the piston to bore clearance is.

Now I do build them and use base engine lubes to fasten up the wear where as piston to bore clearance is too low so no need those modifiers any more
