hello, i want to buy few lubricants and greases for home use and for automotive (those of maintenance kind and those that can i provide to mechanic to use on).
i have shortlisted few but not sure which can be useful and which brand to go for so that i shouldn't over spend.
i have these 3 products.
1. WD40.
2. Bosny silicon spray.
3. Permatex throttle body cleaner.
i want to buy:
1. white lithium grease
2. Brake cleaner
3. greases for brake servicing.
4. any multi-purpose grease.
5. o-ring grease. going for harris grease.
6. should i buy a rust dissolver and rust converter, my car has many rusted parts in trunk floor and engine bay and few other parts.so thought of using this to protect.
7. silicon adhesives to fix the door rubber seal. which one to go for.
8. grease for car door hinges as it seems it no more. though there is no squeaking but 16 yr old car might need.
9. lubricant for car door locks, sometimes keys don't work, i have used wd40 and silicon spray, may be it has ruined. but which is the dedicated one to use.
10. car central locking system, it seems it is getting stuck. may be any lubricant can help.
