I have been exploring Chinese motors for quite a while; I slowly up scaled my test machines from 70cc to recently acquired 450cc, and the results have been really really good.
Its soon going to be 10 years when I first bought my Ravi Paiggio which was a Zongsehn BYQ125 bike CBU imported from china, I did engine upgrades to that bike and was a very stable touring platform for me until 2016, when I finally said sayonara to her.
In between I imported a Chinese dirt bike around 2014 with help of @angel82 and did a tour to North East Pakistan and it when excellent.
Both the Piaggio BYQ and Chinese Dirt bike never made me complain, nevertheless I am less demanding but on tour the bike is pushed way beyond its limits but both still served, and served really well.
In 2016 I sold it and Went to test even larger Chinese machine which was a Zongshen RX3, and I did shared my experience how hard it was to self import one, that also with Good Specs.
The RX3 just blew me away by its super reliable build, its forgiving response to my mistakes, its total maintenance less routine cycle.
It actually set the stage for me to now go one step more ahead bring in a 450cc category Motorcycle, but I needed a professional one, I looked into RX4, zonghsen sales explained its not mature and still under testing, RX3S is not patented hence not shipping, also I already had an ADV so I thought of an enduro, because I did not had that...

I started looking into chinese Enduro which had some good reputation and were not the under-dawg of league... that's when I stumbled upon Asia Wings, LX450 and LX250 Competition Ready Enduros and Super Motos.
I closely started to follow the bike and see what people think about it... Soon I was able to back track that china reverse engineered a Honda CRF450 changed the specs to evade any legal proceedings from Honda and lunched there own Bike.
And for 250cc the Opted for NC250 which is already tested bullet proof platform so both bikes were quite a good ones... I did found out the people are using it as old as from 2009 and they are still in use...
I also wanted to make sure if I can use it as a daul sports, (i.e. Oil change + filter Cleaning and abuse cycle) or does it needs special attention just like Honda CRF which requires attention after every 2.5hours which will be a total no go for any Pakistani.. LOL
So I noticed that it had two modes Competition Mode and Enduro/Dual Sports/City SuperMoto Mode in EFI and in carby it had separate jet kit, sprockets sets, final Drive settings. I was impressed.
In competition mode it needed aggressive maintaince but in Daul sports mode it followed the same 1500KM cycle like any other motorcycle.
I went for a Carby version becuase in RX3 I noticed it does not likes Bad feul at all. and we have only bad feul.
Now all I wanted was to find a local importer I had a friend who runs a showroom here in Lahore of Chinese bikes so I asked him and he brought it for me.
