M.PHIL after M.com?

Salam, was looking to get admission in Fast nuces but sadly they've finished 3.5 years mba & doing bbs seems useless as most uni's dnt consider it to b eligible for mba 1.5 years program, mostly all uni admissions r closed & I have to wait 6 more months to get admiss in mba 3.5 years so I was thinking to start M.com from Punjab college then M.PHIL after completion of m.com, is it better rather than going for a straight mba 3.5 years program? Which degree among both is more valuable in terms of getting job & $$$ :D,lastly which uni in isb in considered best for mphil? regards navid

Bro what abt Ms management science instead of mba as most ppl says mba is done now better do ms mngmnt science? Mind telling frm where uve completed ur mphil?

Dear bro . I am in comsats university.

My sugestion is .. start BBS prgram which is approved by HEC and every university started it from last semester.

BBS degree will help you alot , It will groom your personality aswell .. 3.5 years program is finished by HEC. HEC has introduced BBS after B.com so that full 16 years education will be completed ( 2 years B.com and 2 years BBS).. after that you will have an option of MBA 1.5 years and M.phill/MS as well ..

So start BBS from any good university , after that do M.Phill/MS if you have research interest and if have business interest then start MBA 1.5 years.

bro I've asked from almost every uni offering mba 1.5 years if bbs hec approved degree eligible for mba 1.5 but the answer is no from fast air iqra & even comsats they say bba hons is eligible r u in isb comsats?

as far as I know only 3 uni offering bbs in isb riphah,quaid e azam, absyin which is recently approved by hec

bro it usually of 2 years...but it takes more then 2 as thesis takes time...i started in jan 2008 nd my defence of thesis was in oct 2010... and they dnt prefer ms on mba...infact they see equally both...as i already said MS is over educated for corporate sector

Bhai work experience is the most imp thing! Yeh mphil shem phil ka koi faida nai... Sirf teacher he lag sako ga No other job asks for mphil requirement...

Yeh professional degrees ka dor ha, forget academic degrees... Do ACCA, or CA if u want a good reputed degree accepted all across the world!

And Mphil kia b tou dhakay khaogy...! Without work experience bakwas si job lagy gi wo b bas koi 25 hazr ki max! Wo tab apko pasand nai ani...

M.com is pretty useless degree when compared to MBA, MBA has wide application whereas mcom is not that wide... It lacks rigourous traning and is limited to accounts only... Plus mcom is no comparison to ACCA or CA... Hence u'd just mess up with urself wasting so much time on this...

Do MBA and then focus on getting a good job.. With good JD, CV bnao apni.. CV pe kuch practical hona chahye na k hawa men e... I did this project I did that project at uni bla bla.. Not much use!

yr idk whats wrong with HEC as mba 3.5 years is nearly finished from all universities except few, now i hv to go for either M.com 2 years or BBS 2 years subset of BBA after b.com HEC approved to be eligible for MBA 1.5 or 2 years, uni's offering bbs r closed 4 admissin but m.com admissions r still open in PCC, by doing BBS i'd hv a chance to do mba 1.5 years from few unis but by doing M.com i'd definately hd 2 go for 2 years mba, bbs admission wil b open after 4,5 months i guess

Me too doing m.com from karachi university. My sis did m.phil after ms, good choice if u wanna see urself as a lecturer in future. If u wanna do office job, i would recommend u to select cma after m. Com
