well i got mine reststored from pindi even i live in her Mirpur! visited the mechanic 3-4 times only during the 2 mnth restoration!

thats a gud option to save restoration tym...!
but they will give u more headaches later on. bcoz u dont actually know abt what mechanicaly has been done to it!

Dear All,
I am new to the thread as recently bought my mutt and now in the restoration process. tried the old engine and got it in working condition but was a daily hassle with something, so decided to put in a new engine and bought a 3s engine yesterday and hopefully will be put in a few days and then will post pics.
Best person and guy for any help is Mohsin as he helped me and guided me a lot. Hats off to him and please ask him for any help and he is always here.

@ MUSTAFAAA FAROOOQ,im running 3sfe in my mutt
make it sure that u have the engine with coils NOT WITH DISTRIBUTOR.if it is with distributor then return it and buy the coil one because it will save u from too much cutting ,else u have to cut the frame,which i will never recommend.
dont cut the bonnet,alter the oil chamber and place some spacers b/w gadrii (jugaar langauge) and body to raise it. dont alter the exhaust but u have to alter the air intake manifold to reduce the height of engine,and tell ur kharadiaa to place the engine as much away from the fire wall as much he can in order to prevent the cabin from heat,u would also installing hydraulic clutch cylinder init......................welcome to the mutt club.this all loook complicated but believe me it is more complicated than u r thinking just kidding

well when i started the hunt before buying the jeep in ramadan i was getting different quotes but all above 60000 but now after eid apparently there is dip in the market and i was able to get one for 45000 from bilal gunj. i would suggest anyone wanting to buy should check the prices nowadays. I can forward the shop contacts i bought mine if someone is interested.

i think i know by now how compliacated it is by now and i am sure i will benefit a lot from all friends in this forum. Just a question why would i be installing the clutch cylinder init........? and what do u mean by that if i may ask?

u need clutch cylinder to be fitted and attached to ur clutch paddle,make sure when the kharadiaa will weld the iron bar with paddle he welds it with the main paddle (the thick strong iron)my kharadiaa welded the bar on wrong place i faced the problems but now ok...and u need this cyliinder b/c mutt originallly does not have hydraulic clutch,now u will b having hydraulic clutch with 3sfe,which needs oil(the brake oil v used to put in cars for clutch toyotas n hondas etc) and one thing more is that do not alter the airintake manifild,the new local made manifolds r available in market for hiace fitting of 3sfe,buy it costs around 1500 rs buy that one and buy the one in which the butterfly fits towards the radiator not towards the cabin
