Sorry guys i could not go to workshop earlier so it was dak when i recahed and took these pictures. The exhaust manifold has already been cut and welded and is quite far from the heat shield. If it does not work i will go for the hiace one as suggested as the mechanic is very sure that it will be ok and will not transfer any heat so lets see how it turns out.

Will post tomorrow fresh ones with better quality and light.

I am little confused if you are asking about engine or the jeep. i will answer both.
Jeep i bought from a reseller in lahore near thokar. I think he doesnt have any more mutss but has FJs and another person besie him has mutts. Engine i got from a reseller in Bila ganj.
Parts are available for the jeep and the engine both. Mohsin with the ID ctrus can help you a lot with parts and complete process and even finding a Mutt.

Just got back from workshop and good news is that the engine is now start and from everything seems to be in good condition and now tomorrow wiring and some other things like pedals and cluth plate and things will be fitted and hopefully it will be out of the Mechanical workshop day after tomorrow.
After that it will be going to a little bit denting and complete paint job

However can someone help me with some follwoing things;
1. Original Back seat
2. Horn push button in the steering i mean the whole big circular thing as mine is broken.
3. Any advises for the meters?

Gauges you can get from Mohsin, or Pindi is the best place to buy Parts for army Vehicles.. You can get wheel, lights, back seats and much more out of there,,, Guaranteed, I have been there many times, You can find any thing...

what i can seee from ur manifold that it is way too high ,it needs to be lower than the tappet cover's height in order too fit,else u need hood scops which really looks ugly,but hiaces one,tell ur exhaust pipe fabricator that do not pass the pipe over the gear box

guys i m new to ur club. Me and my cousin imransavul finally decided to buy 2 fresh auction Mutt 151 and restore them ourselves,in same color and specifications. We want to restore them as close to original as possible. We dont hav any experience at all so pl help us out. At what price we can get them and the cost of restoration. What to c while purchasing. Where can we find parts of this jeep. well the only purpose to buy this vehicle is hard core off roading . So is this hard enough for such purpose. ONE IMP THING, I WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT HAND, is this possible. Which color u guys recommend that suits best.

as far as i know the price of jeep depends upon its condition .remember when u buy the jeep make sure u get all the parts most kabarie take prts out of the jeep.the prise of goo restored jeep costs between 350k to 450k minimum 350k will be spent what so ever do not think that you ill buy the jeep for 120k and restoration will cost around 100k
parts of jeep are becoming easily available from kabaria and few local shops aswell
it can be converted in to right hand drive best place to restore ur jeep is sultan da koh rawalpndi.

Hey guys

I need a 24v fuel sender unit for my Jeep (its a CJ5, but seeing as how the MUTT is 24v also, I think ya'll would be able to help me out). I thought that any sender unit would work, but the 12v ones that I've bought don't seem to work with my 24v gauge. I've searched numerous places, all to no avail. Do any of you know where I can find one in Lahore? Or, is anyone willing to sell me their fuel sender unit? I'd be willing to pay any additional shipping cost if you reside outside of Lahore.
