I am planning to buy a macbook pro retina. ive never owned a mac device and have always used dell laptops...

need input from mac device owners please...

Is it worth the price?

any specific issues ( hard and software both )

hows the experience converting from windows to mac?

Dear hasan i am Mac used since 2001 and I own many Apple Mac devices, right now i have Mac pr? , Macbook pro unibody 17 inch 2009 model and new addition in my Mac family is top of the like Macbook pro 15 inch retina display i7 with 16gb RAM..
Let me very clear there is nothing like Macbook pro. Just close ur eyes and go for it and I will make sure you will never like to use any other computet except Macbook pro..

Go for it without a second thought. Trust me you are never going to revert to Windows ever again. One friendly advice though ! Do checkout some of the tutorials of basic things before trying them on Mac. I found it slightly confusing when I started using it initially. Like I had no idea how to take a screen shot on Mac for good 2-3 months as there was no MS Paint in it

Thanks guys.... just one more thing.... like for windows MS office is easily available...cracked one...
wat bout the softwares and applications for MAC?

if you want good specs stick with hp lenovo or dell.. but if you want a shoda laptop with inferior specs for more money go for apple... added advantage is chicks dig apple
