it begins to rain now and all i did was soak it all in. mind over matter...

another pause before we head to the reservoir but what can i see in the rain?. we'll see...

this is it, the start of the Sholayar reservoir, the second deepest in Asia and we were supposed to go on a boat ride but due to the inclement weather we couldn't go any further. just hanging out there for a while soaking in the cold spray and the mist did compensate though a bit.it was pointless taking pics either 'cause everything went black and the clouds were almost in our faces or so it seemed!

after a pleasant and wet interlude we headed back in the rain for about 10km after which things went back to normal. the clouds still hung around a bit. one can never predict the weather in these parts..

a few hours after return dinner is served. this time there was bread, kerala parathas and rice along with mutton and veggies with carrot pudding for dessert followed by tea

the next day morning...and what a beautiful morning!. bright sunshine, cool air and i remained in bed for a very long time, snug like a bug in a rug!
