Guys i have two question.....1st i have excide n200ah battery which i currently charging at 20amp by inverex setup.....Is this ok to charge at 20amp because i check the excide website they said n200ah charge at 18amp but inverex have only 10a or 20a option.This is ok that my ups give extra 2amp charge.any problem in future to my battery to continue charge at 20amp.My 2nd question is that whats your review about millat battery & bridge power battery for ups.whats their reputation in useing.....i used all brands except these two brands....Thanks

Dear 2Amps of extra charging is not harmful for battery. Charging ampere reduces gradually as the changing level of battery increases. So dont worry about it.

Last Year is used 6 Bridge power batteries. I had to return 4 batteries within a month because of disconnection of Cell connections internally. One battery lasts only 1 year and other got cell short after 5 months. Now the dealer here is claiming that this battery has improved much. I purchased 2 but before using, one customer from multan, told me that, he used Bridgepwer battery but not good at all.

regarding Millat battery, i have not used till now as there is no dealer of millat battery. Few days ago i got a chance to check the battery Millat 185, working fine from last four montths.

2009 to till 2015 i try all brands and result are......AGS 10month,FB 8month,VOLTA,OSAKA 11month,PHOENIX 9month work and then say bye bye....Now use Excide 6month old till work OK.i conclusion that why battery company gave only six month warranty because they know that their battery will work fine in that period.if their battery work for 2 or 4 years how they earn profit?I read all comment on this thread and i thinking how lucky these guys whos battery work fine for 2 to 3 years.KYA JADOO HAI UN K PASS JO MARE PASS NAHI.....

Hey Ishtiaq bro, I am going to purchase new battery for my desi UPS. I planned to get AGS GX175 but after reading your comment, I am confused which one to buy.
I heard AGS GX175 is 23 plates, Phoenix UGS 175 is 21 plates and Phoenix UGS 215 is 25 plates... for which one should i go?

My previous battery Phoenix XP165 lasted 2-3 years with desi ups even ups was bad quality without low voltage shut off feature and it deep discharged to 8 volts couple of time. The battery guy seems to fill good electrolyte. so should I get PYRO pre-made electrolyte for my new battery or I can trust the battery guy as he told he is using good quality electrolyte (evident from previous battery)

Bro i use inverex 5+5 350w ups and load on him in summer 3fans and 4or5 energy sever till 2014.jan 2015 i upgrade my ups new inverex model 720w with lcd & 6 month old excide battery.now is winter the total load is 7or8 energy sever and 2 ptcl modem.load shedding shedule in my city day and night total may be 8 to 10 hours.

Dear AGS 175 is 23 Plates and UGS 175 is 21 Plates but the thickness of UGS series plates is more than AGS battery plates. As you have already a good experience of phoenix i ll suggest u to buy UGS 175 or UGS 215

Hmmmm ok thats the reason you r getting less service life of batteries. As you are using high frequency charging chines ups. These ups are best for gel batteries , not suitable for flooded lead acid batteries.

Bro i buy inverex 720w 10000 rupees,previous model i don't remember how much price.my experience is very good with inverex,noiseless on ups position and previous model not repair till 2014,only cooling fan change because given noise,sold in 4000 rupees and buy new upgrade inverex.My real problems is battery performance......

Now a days desi ups are also not bad... I was using a very old desi ups which f***ed my battery badly but still it lasted 2+ years. Now upgraded to new kit+module from Imran Brothers... and lets see after changing old battery with new.

what should be the price of phoenix 175 - 215 ah battery ?
i want to buy one as my current ags battery cell has been replaced and its working ok for my pc (no restart .. i think its minimum runtime would be 2 hours ) but in three of its cells its sg is 1180 when fully charged..

also this time i want to prepare electrolyte myself.. but its hard to get the acid..
however one shop was ready to sell it but it was full 30 ltr can.. and i couldnt carry it on motorcycle as its very dangerous and taxi fare was 600 rs .. so i left it.

so if any one (preferaby from isb ) want to make make the electrolyte himself can pm me so that we can pool and buy it..
